I always used multi shot because you can kill monsters from 2 screens away and they dont move or react to you. Also try the cow level multi shot. Cool build and vid.

xtimus and djuntas are representative of everything that's wrong with d2 lol... not much real game knowledge that doesnt come from some jsp guide and no clue on how to build/gear a character without gg items and getting rushed. xtimus is just an inflated douche, don't have to look far to come to that realization...to his credit djuntas seems like a nice enough guy, i just dont really agree with his elitist outlook on diablo 2 stuff and his rambling videos don't really teach much. what i noticed really builds knowledge and skill at this game is playing single player... the single player uploaders know what the fuck theyre doing, because they can't rely on botted gear/jsp/rushes to get them through. it's just them and the game and the RNGesus and it really shows in their analysis and commentary of the nuances.

I think it's highly situational. I'd say GA > Magic Arrow unless the enemy is physical immune. GA might (?) be better than strafe when there is just 1 target (honestly not sure about that) and strafe is of course better than both when there are multiple targets (although again depending on Phys immunes). Multi-shot is also very good, likely better than strafe when there are a lot of enemies. But when there is a moderate amount, I think it truly depends on the configuration, i.e. if the monsters are in a row vs. in a line and whether your piercing arrows will hit anything behind them.

nah, i still havent found a windforce. If i found one i'd use it, havent decided exactly what the build would be. I believe the 90% ias bp is the highest achievable. 40% from wf, plus 20% from gloves gets to 60%... so I would probably use a 2os giant skull with 2x ias jewels, even though the knockback is redundant. A 2os crown of ages would be best, but i dont have one lol. Idk, maybe an andy's would be better? Or find a different way to deal with phys immunes other than using atma's... maybe re-spec into a frozen arrow build so you can use cat's eye or hlords... anyway yeah i'm not sure but those are my thoughts at the moment.

Kruggers13 yeah I was thinking something along those lines, I dont actually have a 2 socket giant skull and I cant play now because im on vacation but I will definitly look into making a cool bowzon around it. I already lvled a bowzon to 70 something a long time ago and im very intrested in bowzons for some reason. Thanks for the wise words dog

Hello, what build would you recommend for a ladder reset? I wanna play with a bow (it can be my main weapon or just on switch for immunes) so hybrid spec are welcomed ! I am not really found of the basic java spec, it is boring to me (but really strong though)

I don't know if I can condone all those skills in Guided Shots, would probably respec it for Freezing Arrow personally. I would say strafe is better than Multi. Just my two cent's. Would like to add that its cheaper to buy potions than it is to get skill points.

Yeah word. I did have the idea that this would be a purely physical dmg bowazon though. I've long had the idea of making a separate freezing arrow bowazon but it just hasnt come together.

Idk why but my Bowazon has much less dmg despite using similar gears (like 500 - 900 with Strafe) (LoH, Raven Frost, SoJ, Razortail, Gore Rider, upped WWS, CoH and Tal's helm). 100 more dmg from Goldstrike Arch and 50% off-weapon ED really make that much difference? For charms, I use some Add x elemental dmg.

Hello, would you recommend a FA build for a first wt? i wanna play a bowazon but without a good bow she will lack phys. damage so FA could be a nice alternative (or maybe FA/strafe)

yeah i'd say if you're undergeared freezing arrow is your best bet. There are some pretty good hybrid freezing/physical builds out there you can check out. Strafe sounds good--make sure to get some knockback. I myself would like to make a freezing arrow zon at some point. I think a Silence bow would do very nicely and is relatively easy to make.

Yeah a CoH would be dope, I'd like to get one for this char eventually but probably will be a long time. Maybe if I found a windforce i would be motivated enough to really deck this character out.. but not yet

well this dude is playing single player and without hacks or mods, meaning he found all his gear, and he came up with that setup, which is far from perfect, but pretty damn cool (for a softcore character, anyway). I don't mind him not having perfect res, since he does not play hardcore.

I haven't, I consider atma's pretty essential to this build as it's how it deals with physical immunes. I suppose you could rely on your merc's reaper's toll but i just dont think it would be reliable enough. Plus, zons have critical strike as a passive skill and not too many skill commitments besides, so you can get your double dmg % pretty high that way, reducing the relative attractiveness of highlord's. It does have the benefit of 20% ias, however, thereby freeing up other equipment or allowing you to use a bow with lower ias (goldstrike comes with a very high base 50% ias). PERHAPS if i had a windforce and no better way to reach the 90% ias bp for hydra bows I would consider it, though frankly i might go cat's eye even then. Not sure.

i based my amazon on your build, i have the same gear but i tried atmas and highlords, and i feel a high difeference and the double dmg doesnt proc that often, so thats why im using highlords, and almos the same skills but instead of guided arrow, i maxed freezing freezing arrow to get the inmunes, im actually killing everything on hell without a problem.

Try Windforce, is the best bow in the game. Armor fortitude, cb,ds, ow on rest. allso Atma is not good, procs low, highlord is better for example.

To mamy mistakes first you try to do this Amazon 3 in 1 delete multi shit use strafe 20 1-10 guided arrow if u rly need for bosses then u save 20 points(19) after gear only gloves I cen accept war traveler best , cats eye same and use Merc with might aura and last tips try to find eagle horn bow needs only lettle ias...

Wow... I don’t know how you can play a bowzon on non ladder gear. I use single player plugy mod for D2 and it allows me to use ladder runewords. I have a beast bowzon that has act1 faith bow with fanat and I use a windforce with fortitude armor. I use a double Ber’ed CoA raven/dual leech rings/atma ammy and my charms are mostly resis/max damage/life charms. My stats are enough str and pure dex. Nothing in vitality, my charms and CTA give me 900ish life and my resis are positive 40ish but I still need to ditch Baal runs if I see souls or dolls. Chaos runs are much much easier. When I didn’t have a CTA I used titans and SS on switch when running around. Planning on respecting to Java since bow is so fragile... planning on farming my ZoD rune in mass killing cows on player7.
