Only thing the pit is good for is testing how strong your build is. Infernal hordes master work material drop rate is busted. Sure it will be nerfed next season for sure.

Pit is obsolete. I've been doing T8's without even realizing I didn't have maxed glyphs /fully master worked armor and average around 450 - 550 Aether a run, in half the time it would take to kill a pit boss.

i am always amazed how persevering wudi is on D4. I like the game, but i always get bored extremely quick once i am level 100 and got some gear. So i always end up watching him to see the high endgame stuff like T8 Hordes or Pit Pushes. I guess grinding is just not my thing.

difficulty spike between each Infernal Hordes level is no joke! I'm just starting out (almost 100 but not quite and not following a guide) and I can do lvl 2 w/ my eyes shut but on 3 I die quickly and repeatedly enough I give up (and that is w/ armor almost maxed and res. maxed; but w/o any buffs from potions/incense either).

Just pop the Winterglass to level 5, it's something at least and it costs you relatively nothing compared to the mats you have

I'm running hydra atm and the single target is almost good enough to make up for the absolutely atrocious aoe output lol. Overall I'd say you lose more time getting to the boss than you save at the boss, and I don't think I've managed to break 500 Burning aether in IH, but it's clearing T5 quickly enough even with subpar gear. That said, hydra has almost 0 unique support which probably limits the overall potential of the build.

With Good gear fireball does better ST. However with Perfect gear I think lightning spear will pull ahead because its able to scale so hard off CDR. Now which is better with 90% or close to perfect gear I couldn't say.

Tyreals might + disobedience on pants makes you pretty much immortal from my experience, also getting cooldown for flame shield is good. Only thing that might 1 shot is maybe a skeleton crossbow but just keep moving and they will miss

If res and armour capped, try tempering warmth and temerity with a reasonable roll.

As stated above make sure armor is 9230, res are full, and if you dont have ubers, use the everliving and concentration aspects on your chest and helm for damage resist. After that, once you get your first uber and its not a shako, tyraels might, or ring of starless skies, dismantle it to get a shako. Getting a shako boosted my build to tier 8 infernal

Ok question about this build. I run this build from the maxroll guide. I watch Raxx and wudi run this build and they have what looks like 5 ice spears shoot out in the same direction as the frozen orbs. When I run the build I don't have that. What am I missing?

I used it on bash barb last season - I had shako too already so I was unbillable basically - the thing is effectively extra ~75% dmg reduction and ~40% damage done [x] since you're constantly on 100% rage and not using it for anything on bash build. That's the only reasonable use for it I can think of though.

Anyone saying selig sucks is a fucking moron that has clearly never played hardcore. Wwdd with selig let me do 90 second pit 101s while being able to AFK AS IF I WERE THORNS BARB. I'd argue my 60k life with selig was more effective life than my 380k life thorns friend. I even took myself down to 45k life by the end of the season as I took off Royal rubies

Right now I’m running this but wand and focus, so I can run storm swell and splintering on them. Do you think a staff is far better? I’d be losing storm swell which is tons of dmg They are the only aspects I run besides frozen orbit. I run rasha and starless, I guess I could run a normal ring but 🤷‍♂️ What do you all think?

Staff is best because splintering aspect is what you’re scaling in the build.

Sadly there is not even a Feat of Strength for that, so I'm done with the season after completing all seasonal things. There is no reason to grind mythics. Longer break will do good for me before expansion.

I've been playing around with chain lightning, bouncy fireball and lightning spear sorcs so far and lightning spear, which wudijo is playing here, is by far the most outrageous, and I have the key items for all three builds (not maxed out or fully optimized)

One thing outside of builds you could do is stay close to it, the attack it does when it's far from you does a lot more damage than all its close range attacks

At level 100 in WT 4 with the penalties to resistance how much raw all resist does Sorc have no gear just level and paragon board

You don’t need resist on any gear. You barely even need it on paragon. Lvl 100 should have a ton of INT and there are multiple resist all nodes you’ll get for glyphs. I don’t even run any resist gems on my sorc rings or amulet because I don’t need them. Running T7-8 hordes

To run t7+ I'm assuming I need max masterwork gear? I'm 100, max glyphs, max aspects, tyraels with 77.5 res in all, the only thing I'm missing is my armor is only 7k. But I can't even survive in t5 runs. (Barrage rogue)

"With a sacred Winterglass"... yeah... but It has perfect % rolls and max 0.3s roll on the most important stat. So what is your point? It's actually even better then my ancestral that is masterworked to 12/12. Played this season for 3 days, killed all ubers and got everything maxed out (all gear mw 12/12, glyphs 21). There is nothing to progress anymore in terms of character strength so I'm out again. Game is going in the right direction but still, something is missing, because I'm spending less time then in seasons in D3 before I get bored (it usually took like 1-2 weeks per season in that one).

This is where I have a problem with D4. That build right there, you are able to do T8 Infernal, Solo Uber Bosses, have the Ubers you need. Game complete. Nothing left to do. Season done in less than a week
