And some of the solutions to fix the cheaters of stone of Jordan’s was add a really cool boss spawn in the open world for people who would donate to fix the economy lol.

I really like his content and reporting integrity but yes this has been a massive issue for a long time, he grifts on the titles to pander to the lowest common denominator gamer crowd who hates everything and clicks at any negativity, the worst of the worst of an audience you can have. I mean temper and masterwork your gear. At this point, the extremely grindy boss loop is the only thing worthwhile that's different.

I got 33% through the video. I've just realized that I'm indifferent about Activision/Blizzard titles. I just don't care anymore; not even about news surrounding it. Too many times they have burned bridges. I evaluate titles on the following criteria: Total cost (money and time) of quality escapism and intrinsic engagement. Activision/Blizzard ranks horribly in that light. Heck, it might be more fun to go on a date with my neighbors trusty love-sock.

I purchased a copy of Diablo IV for PS5 quite some time back. Haven't ever played it yet. Not that I don't want to, but I've just simply been busy with other games. Starting to think that waiting is a good strategy to end up with a better experience. It worked for Diablo 3...

9:18 where did you get the idea they have removed the Helltide Chests? They haven't said that anywhere, the patch notes say "Baneful Hearts can primarily be earned through opening Tortured Gift chests " and their latest video even shows someone opening one. In fact they are probably more important than ever - "As you battle through Helltides, you will generate Threat - how much will be determined by the difficulty of monster and how often you’re securing Tortured Gifts within Helltide". But they did reduce the channel time to open them.

I stopped playing shortly after playing the PTR because it felt completely pointless to continue playing in the old system with shit loot when I could just wait a month. Fallout 4 has been a great game to kill time until S4 and now we are here

I'm not sure I can be won back at this point. Between the existence of Diablo Immortal and Diablo 4 as a whole, I have fallen out of love with the series. I gave D4 so many chances and at no point did I have any fun. D3 was a mess at first as well but it was at least fun at the core. I'm done being hurt.

If there's anything I've learned from the last few years of gaming news, it's that AAA studios like Activision-Blizzard are not to be trusted, and live service games are not to be trusted. I don't care what they do to fix Diablo IV at this point, I still wouldn't play it even if you gave it to me. It's a good thing we still have Diablo II. 24 years later and it's still the best game they ever made.

Tbh, still not convinced. The problem with arpgs is that the more you get closer to BIS in each slot, the less you care about loot. The less you care about drops, the less meaning you get from the gameplay loop.

I hearing the system and is so complicated I can't bring myself to play this. You used to kill enemies and get loot. Now you kill enemies to bring more enemies till one has the loot and that loot is part of 3 things and then you have to another thing with those things to get the loot ? Wtf is this s$%t !?

I enjoyed leveling my necromancer up to level 100 during season 2 and do some endgame gear grind, but until they add more interessting endgame activities I won't touch the game again. Updating the loot system is a great thing and I am happy where the game is heading at the moment.

This is what I am talking about..... We buy a game, the game is trash, then we have to buy the fix in the form of an "expansion". This is almost the exact same process that D3 went through. All I know is that D2 STILL rocks, has mods and support. Maybe D4 should take a look at the D2 mods for ideas for D4, since Bliz-Turd cant seem to come up with an original thought.

Also people going "THE TITLE IS CLICKBAIT" No it's not. Diablo 4's old direction is "we do the bare minimum listening to feedback an you will buy our shit." And now that D4 seriously struggled last season, they're actually making loot better. So yes, their old direction of not fucking paying attention was given up. Cope harder for the poor multi-billion dollar corpo. Oh, and that their strategy now is literally just D3 expansion strats. It's not even D4 style anymore.

I am someone who loves D4's core gameplay loop, but found it got stale after level 80ish - these changes may be exactly what the game needs. Excited to try it!
