It has really poor single target, so it will struggle in farming higher tiers. S tier for aoe clearing, but B/C tier for bosses.

@@KarmaKahn @basvhout, pen shot is s tier this season, because you can use full combo pen shot with only 1 basic skil between, because puncture resource generations temper is bugged. You can see how it works on my channel where i go pit tier 63. In this video build WASNT optimized, now i am muuuch stronger (doing pits up to 100) and will record some videos soon :) Also i do not recommend maxroll build for that, there is 0 info about bugged combo points. Whats most important with pen shot build - ITS ACTUALLY FUNNY ( In contrast to heartseeker) and uses the same vulnerable mechanics. Single target dmg is really ok.

Anything that requires combo points just feels really awful to play at high end pits. So many inputs required per pack when all you want to do is spam your skill.

Barbarian can’t be balanced. The way the class was designed at its core was poor hindsight from the get go. Consider this, at the very bare minimum, Barbarian has 2 2h and 2 1h at all times. That’s 2 100% aspect increases, 2 2h increase on affix values, and then the 2 1h. They can’t balance or nerf barb without affecting every other class in the game or just completely destroying it. Not to mention, this game is already struggling. Blizzard has just gotten into people’s semi-good graces again. If they nerf Barbarian that will be the end of the game and once PoE2 drops it’ll be a ghost town

Almost all builds can clear T100, question is: how fast and how reliable? T100 is not a real metric, time spent in T100 is the actual metric -- if we even use pit as a standard, because some might argue against it.

I've always had question about the tier list within the tier. Is the ranking going down vertically, with the first build on the second row being worse than the last build on the first row, or do you go horizontal first, so first build on the second row is actually the second best within the tier?

Seems like it to me given that the sorc is highest and on the left. I read it from top to bottom in order, so left always being slightly better than right and the top one being far better than the lowest one. Hope it helps

I have been running Twisting Blades with Andariel's/Doombringer/Azurewrath. It has completely out performed the standard TB builds and fast farming pits around 85. Looking forward to seeing how it runs post patch. Since I have 2 swords, I make use of Weapon Mastery and it does quite a bit of damage.

But thorns barb has an absolutely horrendous playstyle. I'd rather do half the damage, but play an actual build that involves actions, not just reactions. Also, in higher pits some bosses are simply impossible to defeat, so fishing is necessary -- that's a big no-no for me.

Shadow Minion isn't strong at all at high tier pits. It's just holy bolts doing the work. They will definitely be down to A tier after the holy bolts bug fix. Frozen Orb Sorc with immortal flame shield will definitely be S tier.

Im so happy TB got a buff, its one of the most unique builds in the game. Yes other builds have spinning/rotating damage mechanics but tb you have the returning blades mechanic (heard the pod cast and agree an extra damage return unique without the spin would be really fun to use)

Here's a suggestion for the lower loot bosses: Have the difficulty level able to be chosen by the gamer with the amount of loot corresponding to difficulty. For example, the range could be 1-5, then if you chose 2 the level of the boss would be 5-10 levels higher, but the rewards would be double (just like running the same boss at level 1 twice. Currently, at say L75 I can kill Varshan but it takes time and effort. Knowing I have to kill Varshan many many times, I tend to wait until I can kill him more easily, but then it's boring as hell. Scaling the boss for more loot would help the boss fights be more rewarding.

Funny how Rouge was considered the weakest class this season by various tier lists and it has 4 S-tier builds. On the other hand Sorc is pretty bad but was put in second best place when the season started. Seems it all depends which builds will be broken by bugs each season, this one it was holy bolts with necro and half of Sorc damage not working. Next season will wait at least a week for the new fresh bugs to be found before committing any time to level a class.

Im currently leveling with a Chain lightning sorc, its pretty fun. Season 4 is my first time playing Diablo 4. I completed the Story on like Level 59. I dont know If thats good or not, i Just couldnt get around the area completion, i was addicted to the Sidequests and to clear all dungeons . If im correct my build Changes on reaching Level 100? But which should I go, firebolt seems to be for Veteran Players, Frozen orb Sounds fun though

Honestly, the best build that doesn't require a lot of gear is the ice spikes (blizzard) build. With decent gear, you can get into the pits around 61-80 which will help you get mats to masterwork gear for other builds

@@o-pwrdhd While it doesn't require much gear, it does require the Glacial aspect, which you cant get in a dedicated dungeon. Without it the build is dead.

@@JerBuster77 correct. You need a well rolled Glacial aspect and also the aspect of the frozen tundra (only for the increased AOE explosions). You should actually run glacial aspect on a 2h staff for the 2x aspect bonus. Make sure you avoid anything that increases the actual size of blizzard since it'll reduce the overlaps of your Ice spike explosions. Get mana per second on some pieces of gear as well as some resource generation rolls and you'll be golden

what i had noticed immediately with rapid fire on ps5: clear speed was crap, you had to be a very specific distance from enemies not to have the projectiles sail right over their head, but the boss killing was S tier. these changes are so, so welcome edited to add: we need an auction house and loadouts. if they mean for casual players to be able to complete the season (and i think most ppl agree killing all the ubers at least once would constitute completion) we need to be able to switch between farming and bossing, and we need to be able to smooth out the rng

Regarding alactic conditioning: select a c.v. exercise of your choice e.g. cycling, rowing, running, swimming, skiing, spend 2 minutes adjusting to effort & cadence rhythm then go all out & fight to sustain maximum output for 30s, then relax for 90s, go all out for 20s, relax 40s, all out 10s, relax 40s, now you need to switch body focus, e.g. running backwards, skiing using solely two legs at the same time ergo bilateral, swimming switch to backstroke, rowing use the infamous BIG FINISH strokes for 10-30s max with active recovery in-between efforts. Should take you TEN minutes to complete this c.v. circuit: repeat for a total of SIX circuits! This is a deviation from classic alactic conditioning protocol of SIX times recovery minimum per time spent in ATP-CP & because you are FIGHTING to sustain maximal effort for > 10s it will drop off at some point into anaerobic glycolysis pathway. Yeah they should make tempering like enchanting where you can either choose to get the new roll or keep the older one. Getting 3 or 2 GA gear isn't exciting anymore because you know tempering will brick them most of the time

i did a "immortal" ball lightning but i would not recommend it at all. you need 55% cdr 65% attack speed and flame shield to 5.5+~ sec approximately (i dont have a shako yet ) it's not really fun frankly i could clean 100-110+ pit 'easy' atm but i had to masterwork crit all of my GA cdr at least one time and your dmg are pretty pathetic until you get at least 9-10/12 MW on the other slot that can do dmg. with the amount of specific gearing i needed compared to other class it really wasn't a great idea especially because for the "immortal" thing you remove raiment of the infinite which sucks (maybe this could be resolved with a shako to get enough point in fire shield (currently at 10 without it ))

You "can" run BL with Raiment with near perfect rolls on GA cdr + tripple crit FS duratioon on legs (i have 4.13 duration with 8,23sec cooldown). The thin is, that raiment is great for low lvl pits when you kill the mobs within 1 to max 2 staggers. If you don´t, there are just to many mobtypes that spread/tp or simply annoy you as fuck on T110+ that raiment falls off a cliff and you are better of running with FS chest and Tibaults Legs for ~12% dmg increase (losing a lot of int) There are also some bosses, that permanently backpaddle which is really bad for BL, i always try to get them stuck in a corner after 1minute or so... My guess is, that Sorc is the next to get a enchantment system rework, cause it sucks balls... And i do not mean we get a 3rd enchant, cause 95% of out enchants suck or are just QoL stuff.

I prefer play style over performance. It’s hard for me to move away from the Blizzard sorc as its large AOE range, great CC and defense. Though i’ve just managed to pass pit 100 lvl with Starless ring because it struggles against bosses. Hard to find another great build but I’m still trying to.

Well. Didn't expect to quit Diablo 4 before the patch hit. Saw your Lightning Sorc Andariel Video and thought that looks awesome. Turns out I spend 2.5 Billion Gold 15m ago and I didn't hit Attackspeed even TWICE on the Andariels. Just for reference. I hit Stats 21x in a row. That is statistically speaking a 1 in 8.388.608 if I calculated that right. So. Conclusion is. I wasted more than 30k Pit Mats which took a long time to get. Sold all my stuff and in return I'm sitting on an Andariel's 2/12 Masterworked that didn't hit Attackspeed even twice. Sad, but that killed this season for me I'm completely done with this RNG bullshit, specially tempers. Everything for nothing. Good luck Wudijo.

If the pit health reduction only goes to tier 60 then the pits you're referencing aren't affected by the health nerf.

Druid hate runs deep. Shred and Pulverize druid seem to be the fastest movers and tankiest big number makers atm. People hitting for 10M crits on pulverize and if it Overpowers they hitting for over 100M. And Necro minions feel quite weak atm without the holy bolts. I dont like it anymore.

I tried the puncture rogue. It's strong. Speed farms pits about as fast as HS, but it's slightly worse with bosses because non stagger damage is worse. It's about to be stronger, though.

The Sorc won’t be able to ramp DPS without a complete skill rework. Blizzard knows this (this includes the Druid), and this should be addressed in the expansion. I think it’s kinda comical that the sorc has a skill with the company name, and it’s currently tied for last place in terms of builds. lol.

A quick fix for both classes would probably be to just make some of the legendary paragon nodes actually feel legendary. For a lot of builds we usually only pick up 3 or 4 "legendary" nodes and usually half of them aren't even that helpful. Honestly it kinda feels that way with most classes.

Frost sorc has been my favorite archetype since I can remember. It looks cool and it's fun to play. But all you have to do is roll an alt to realize how gimp it always has been.

I can already speed farm tier 100 in 1.5 min on my Tyrael Bleed WW Dust Devil Barb. I *cannot* believe how much my build is getting buffed tomorrow! 2x aspect damage for ww dd, and 2x Tyrael holy bolt damage, and pit nerfs! :D

If you saw how developers are playing their own game (smashing one button on a controller) and have problems clearing a dungeon then such nonsense ideas should surprise no one. Yeah... let's buff the strongest build (and class) in a game because why not. On the other hand, let's put Druid and Sorc (outside immortal Flame Shield) into oblivion. Step 1 - Druid and Sorc should be able to wear 2H and 2x 1H weapons for more aspects and offensive stats Step 2 - rebuild Druid and Sorc Paragon boards because they have the worst layout Step 3 - change Legendary Nodes and give them "infinite" scaling as Barbarian has and the same goes with Key Passive Step 4 - make better tempering options because Barb is the only one with a double offensive option (dmg to close + Bash cleaves for...) the rest can choose max 2x with double cast Step 5 - Pulverize would have to overpower every single time to make it usable Step 6 - Core skills are now more or less useless because of resource management and Basic skills have the best Aspects (Adaptability, Might, Moonrise, Rapid, Undying, etc). Overall: Blizzard doesn't know their own game.

It didnt get any nerfs at all ! Its just that it was never as good as people made it before Season start. Double Swing Twister after Patch is the exact same it has always been for Season4....but its pretty easy to see when you play it yourself that it just lacks boss damage onece you reach Pit 80+

Sorc builds in A tier in not A tier. Maybe Frozen Orb. Just maybe. They should be in B tier. Ball lightning is not good like minion necro or whirlwind. Im doing tier100 pit with whirlwind build in 2-3min. Sorc is not even close.
