Because Diablo Immortal is arguably a better game. WASD support. Mobile AND PC. Controller support on all platforms. Excellent party finder systems. Huge variety of gameplay and grinding options.

I thought you were going to say that D4 lacks the robust and easy to use party finder system that is in DI. For a modern game like D4 to not include a good party finder system is a major oversight.

Why would you ever need another player in D4 ? It's just another guy bashing mobs there is no tanking/healing no teamplay in this game. Serious question i actually wonder why they made it like that i don't get it.

​@khorneflakes2175 because many players like myself enjoy matchmaking in MMOs. I enjoy games like FFXIV for its party finder systems for example. Same with a lot of Destiny content and I hate that game but love the feature lol.

@@AkibaMomoro Oh i've been playing MMOs, i've healed on various multiplayer content for 15 years, i have thousands of hours in MMOs. The complete lack of synergy between players doesn't make me want to play with anyone in D4, i'd rather work on my build and see how high i can push my character, Diablo is a solo game and i honestly do not see the appeal in zerging around with people having someone blast mobs you were targeting. I've yet to see two characters relatively on the same scale of power in this game os it would be either i blast stuff for people or they blast stuff for me, that's very low appeal. If your argument is playing with folks just to be in a group and mess around then allright cool for you, i'd rather you loose that and we get an offline option so as to not lag like hell very time you enter/leave town or load a zone with a few people in it. Still absolutely unconvinced.

The dungeons are also far better in Immortal. Dislike the game for its monetization all you want, but they put effort into making the dungeons in Immortal.

The old school ARPG gamer in me, who still has a hard time saying diablo immortal is nothing more than a cash grab game from blizzard , wants to say it not a true ARPG with out click to move only, but I can't figure out a good reason why WASD isn't there. I dont think I care of it there or not. The bigger issue I get from all the people I played immortal with is having to explain to them that yes every 3 months ish to play the newest content and season will have to restart a char =) they don't understand that seasons are prt of what make ARPGs great,

Targeting for spells on Diablo Immortal (for controller) should be in some forms carried to D4 as well. Would be a very big UG game especially for Sorcerer imo.

Only thing immortal does better is rip people of 😂 but being serious the stuff i like more about immortal is the non seasonal approach so the sky is the limit for lvling but it just seems like every one got the same gear so it does not feel special in any ways i remember d2 back in the days and trust me me and my friends played on the same sorc farming mephisto again and again x 10000 never got a crazy drop like harlequins or stone of jordan and that made those items EPIC as f... when someone found them not duped or hacked but immortals item drops nothing has that special feeling

Same way I feel about D4 seasons and having to level a new toon for content. Everyone says well D2 was that way and just how it is. Well then play d2. Immortal I don’t have to level up again. I wanted to be invested in a main character that I’m potentially putting 100’s of hours into. They should keep expanding the end game, not putting a small mechanic in with a quest line they say you reach about an hour into leveling. I can do new builds without leveling again. I can learn new mechanics without leveling again. I don’t want my main just being a gear bank because to get new content that may or may not be added to the other realm after a season I have to level again. There is no progression since you have to keep making a new toon. Just dumb and out dated model. But hey D2 had it so let’s keep doing it. Lol.

There is one game you might not have played a game that was made by Cryptic Studios/NCsoft called; "City of Heroes". It was the first superhero MMO. Then years later you had ones like DCU (DC Universe), Champions Online. City of Heroes is my first MMO. If I never played that game I might not have every played online games. IIRC you said that Runescape was your first MMO. I loved City of Heroes and the community so much I made a guide on how to make and use influence (gold) wisely. I worked very hard taking the information that was all over the place on the forums along with some videos and some things I learned on my own and put it in a one stop guide that was so well received that it became part of the guide to guides section.

No, D4 has a store, but it is all cosmetic items. None of it is actual gear, nor do you gain access to more gear if you pay.

And what is better in Immortal, that there are no need to create new character from zero every few months!!! I hate Diablo IV cause of that. When I played WOW, blizzard could somehow start new seasons with new content to achieve by your leveled character.... and the music in immortal is much better, not as sad and making me wanna exit the game cause I'll get a depression after few hours....

D4 is kinda crap just cus its all players on same server ps4/Xbox/pc all on same place with extreme variations in activity. Ammongst a whole bunch of other things aswell as the timegated parts of it..

You should try it with an Xbox controller on PC it played so much better. I say that cause playing with mouse I would click the menus on accident. But you should try controller I had the same bias and th ought I would hate it but it turns out to work better then I ever imagined
