Diablo is gonna be an important playable in general since it's bringing the sparring mechanic with it, which is apparently going to be given to many more playables as long as it makes sense for those playables to do it, maybe even large carnivores. It's going to add a whole new layer to combat and not just for itself.

During the years on Legacy, a well played Diablo would make a Utah and Dilo flee, was a good match against the Allo, Cerato and Carno sized beasts and was a challenge against any of the apex Predators due to it's turning rate and speed.

Diablo is the rhino of The Isle. I hope they make it fun too play like it is shown. Ceratopsians are my favorite. I pray it doesn't get a charge and gets more of a fencing style attack to be impaled.

I think one interesting mechanic that could be added to the game would be to develope certain toxic plants that some herbivores can eat and when a carni takes a bite it gets temporarily poisoned. Kinda like how there are herbivores today who eat toxic plants or berries to make them too toxic to eat by predators. I think this would also add to the imersion and fun as playing as an herbi. We also need a dino that can "play dead" to avoid predators... that would be cool too.

when Dryos were removed from Legecy Isle for a long while due to the Burrow AFK crashing the servers i was forced to try out other dinosaurs which i don't regret one bit, as a result i LOVED these diablos and maias as my two main herbies and I'm really excited when they get updated for Ervima

Becouse people have carnivore bias. Even if the herbivore in works rn seems to be much deeper in concept than the two goofballs. Ok Chill, I likeall three 😌

I was lucky enough to see a Diablo fighting randoms on stress test a while back. All I can say is, its a monster. It put 2 ceratos to shame and I am so happy about that. It looks big enough to not get grabbed by deino or bowled over by carno but im not positive.

It's under 2 tons so it should be able to get grabbed by any drink over 3 or 4 tons

@@halfslyced also legacy diablo was 3.5 tons when full grown. 3.583 tons to be exact and that would mean no deino below 7.5 tons could grab it roughly.

@@corylance364 in Evrima it's going to be 1.5 tons, I was informed it was showed on dondi's stream. (and even if it were 3.5 tons, dieno is 8 tons and can grab half of its own body weight so it would still be able to)

Diablo is just gonna be cera on roids. Good bleed resistanc, good damage, ok health, meh speed. It won't chase you down but it will make you regret attacking it. It will probably still get knocked over by carno but it's still gonna be strong af. Maybe it's gonna have reduced damage to the head like pachy, so yeah it's gonna be strong as hell. Only downside is it's alt attack takes forever and it's quite slow.

the Diablo on the concept is fully grown... the devs decided to downscale diablo for whatever reason.

The reason is quite simple. Check the real life estimation of that animal. Evrima version is still buffed. Legacy dinos are ridiculously oversized.

​​@@Bleghspreadtotally agree. In legacy diablo was something else. It was 5.5 meters and 3.2 tons which is totally bullshit because real estimates says that biggest diablo specimen was 4.5 meters long and 2 tons. I like evrima, it is more accurate

I find it pretty easy actually! Just spawn south plans and you can literally eat anything, including rotten food and bones. And bones actually give you all 3 diets, and Cera's sniffing range is crazy so just hold q and you're good to go.
