I worked at a vacuum store for about five years. It was very rare to have these come in and have motor failure like this. Actually, now that I think about it I don’t think I ever had one come in with motor issues. Most of the issues we saw were structurally related. Breaking plastic, machines that wouldn’t stand up anymore, brush roll housings cracking etc.

I've worked in a vacuum moter like that and it worked just fine when I turned it on

I never heard a motor sounding this bad. That motor is done for its a shame but that's how bagless vacuums are especially the twin chamber hoovers.

That is your Motor because when I found one on the side road the motor had this like same problem in with sound just like that and they told me it was burnt out

thats a newer one the older ones didnt have a real good premotor lilter if i remember right my elite with the twin chamber is shot just over a few short uses

Those are bad filtration so bagged Hoover Windtunnels are better then twin chamber

We had one of these growing up, it had replaced an old panasonic jetflo which took bags... it was a far better machine. I absolutley hated emptying the dirt chamber and tapping the filter out inside the trash can, it made a mess no matter what I did.

When these vacs were new everyone knew it would be great but when you decide to not take good care of it... the motor sucks in dirt and sounds like a chainsaw/fire alarm 💀
