I don’t think the gender roles were discussed enough regarding the second post. If I was expected to help cook because I’m a woman and those rules didn’t apply to the men I would be pretty pissed and not feel inclined to cooperate. In any other circumstance though I’d feel so awkward sitting around not doing anything whilst the rest of the group is contributing.

the airport one: the only correct response if youre able to leave is- buy new phone chargers, go buy a blanket and a couple sleeping masks. then come back and tough it out with your friend. imagine something did happen to her, but also, how silly is the friend to be a young girl staying in a hotel room alone? even if it's just for one night. way better to stick together anyway. they could have made it such a fun experience.

(Long story short : my mom threw out my 7-8 years of pen collection ) I started collecting pens at a very young age i don't know why But i used to play with them like some fictional characters I had about 50 pens when i was in 3rd Grade then i lost all those Because we were moving out Then i again started collecting them in 4th grade and lost all again about 50 aswell Then in 5th grade i started again(pen fighting was popular in my school i Don't know if u know it and i won some pens from it )till 12th(i am in college now) 7-8 years of pen collection 250+ pens i had(some of them were rare no one was manufacturing them anymore,my dad also gave me like pen when he was studying 20-30 yrs old pen) But my mom started forcing me to throw them away because her logic was useless things attracts bad energy I didn't agree Then one day i came from college and after some days I realized my box of pen collection is not in my room I asked her she told me she put it in a bag in a cupboard I was like okay Then after couple days i went to see if my collection is their But it was all gone I was very sad And can't also be angry at her I didn't say anything She just threw my 7-8 years of collection like nothing 😭😭😭 (Sorry if my english is bad)

I think the first story is fake. the way OP types is extremely vague but also very descriptive in weird places. and I think they were trying to hint at the pen being more than just a pen considering the pen was so ordinary (with lots of detail saying so), OP's partner suddenly got extremely defensive after noticing that the stitching was different, and that there's a pen inside a stuffed animal in the first place. also, it seems strange that OP would go as far as to rip open a stuffed animal that means a lot to their partner, just to find something that isn't supposed to be in there, and doesn't suspect anything more of it. and this whole situation could've been solved much earlier if they just, idk, had a talk about it? maybe I'm arm chairing this situation too much, but something just doesn't seem right
