I have autism. I love Autism Speaks. It does suck to have an autistic kid. Very stressful. I remember how people were all about curing ADHD and autism. Who in their right mind wants to be coddled and be told that it’s okay to be broken in the head? It’s very patronizing and condescending to receive handouts for something like that. It’s quite rude. Lots of mentally disabled people would use their life savings to pay for a cure. At least, I definitely would.

Not only is the blackend/greyed gum tattoo absolutely nasty and cringeworthy but its also a health concern. Your gums can say quite a bit about your health, if theyre really pale you might be anemic and im pretty sure he cant see if he has gingivitis.

You can check for anemia by pulling down your bottom eyelid as well, it should be pinkish but if it's more whitish, then anemia might be an issue

A few years ago my tattoo artist and I worked for hours on a unique design for a tattoo (a history-inspired one that was going to cover one that I made when I turned 18 and hidden for like the 4(?) years I had it), it had to have specific shapes and shading to cover the old one, and I sat 9 hours for it to be done. A few months after it was done (had healed enough to show the final result and was posted to the artist work-instagram), my tattoo artist messaged me and showed me a picture of a freshly done tattoo that someone had sent him. It was our design, it was really clear that they’ve just printed out a pic of my leg (well, the part of my tattoo, he didn’t get a tattoo of my leg, I hope) and put it on some dudes leg to trace and it was awful. The size was off for putting it where they put it, (the exact same spot as mine), the proportions were off and it was just wonky and not good.. at all. You’d think that they at least have the decency to do a good one when they steal a design but that was just… infuriating and bad. I think I might have saved the picture somewhere. I found your channel 2 days ago and due to insomnia I’ve binged your videos. Thanks for keeping me company 🥰

I wanted something similar when I was 18 but something about getting actual words stops me! To be honest, you probably can fall asleep while getting a tattoo. Speaking from experience here because I almost fell asleep, the difference was that I was getting a leg tattoo so I was actually laying down and being quite comfortable 😅 I cannot imagine getting a face tattoo and falling asleep though Also, the absolutely horrid obsession for people like Dahmer is called hybristophilia. So yeah, it's common enough that we have a name for it unfortunately

TO BE FAIR... When I got my tattoos in the summer, I very nearly fell asleep. The place where I got them on my arm only hurt towards the tips of the design I got (olive branches) and the rhythm became very relaxing, as it went on for about three hours with me lying flat on my back. Very very pleasant, honestly I understand why people consider it therapeutic.

I've fallen asleep during most of my tattoos, including the ones on my ribs. Honestly, tattoos aren't as horribly painful as people make out. I know everyone is different, but if you go in thinking it's going to be awfully painful, you'll probably be in lots of pain. Also, some artists are rougher than others

As someone who has five tattoos, a few of them quite large, I can confirm that I fell asleep during my third tattoo. I was coming off a night shift and it was a small piece (a few runes) versus the last one I'd just done, which was a complex four hour back piece. I actually find tattoos a zen experience mostly. I zone out while being inked, aside from a few spots that hurt a lot for anyone.

As for the serial killer obsession, if I recall the criminological lecture correctly, it generally considered to be coming from a few types of people: 1.) the type used to abuse 2.) the type who find it comforting to fantasise about/ fetishise those they will never, ever be in contact with or 3.) narcissists who are convinced they will be the exception to the victims of the killer. Ie, in their heads, they're the girl who gets into Ted Bundy's heart and convinces him to fall in love with her instead of kill her. Usually a combo of these. Either way, not really something you want to be advertising with a tattoo 😬

Roses are common because it's a classic design like the panther and the pinup. Its versatile and a good space filler ! You'll see a lot of them in traditional American style pieces. Also obligatory tattoo horror story: one of my friends got tattooed by a guy (professional) that was drunk and used expired ink on her: the tattoo grew mold. She's fine now and we clown on this guy whenever someone comes into the studio asking us to cover his shit up lol

Just because you don't fall asleep for tattoos doesn't mean someone else doesn't. I'm a woman and I have quite a lot of coverage. I fell asleep for all but two of mine. For me, it's because I have serious pain issues. Getting tattooed causes the brain to release certain chemicals that my brain does not typically release properly. So, when I'm getting a tattoo I'm getting high at the same time off those chemicals and inevitably fall asleep. Even fell asleep for the one on the back of my neck. I think that's why my tattoo guy like me so much. I never complain about pain, I usually fall asleep, and I'm not much of a bleeder. Artists tends to like that because that means less of a chance of me having to come back in for a touch-up because I bled the color out. So, there are those of us out here who literally fall asleep during our tattoos. So saying that you don't believe people fall asleep during tattoos is 100% a fallacy
