Thank you so much. It was so frustrating watching videos that only showed half of your instructions. I first tried the instructions from Liftmaster by hitting the learn button then holding down the Honda HomeLink buttons and it didn’t work. Then I tried using the first part with the remote as shown in many Honda help KZbin channels and again it didn’t work. Only the two steps worked together and yet I couldn’t find a video that showed both steps in the correct order. So glad I found this video. Good day sir!

Once again thank you for putting together this video. I was sitting in the van following instructions which I retrieved from a website and it was not working. Found your video after searching again and voila the garage door opener was fixed. Awesome videos.

I would like to add. My 2019 Odyssey I programmed before with my chamberlain lift, using this video. Since then my Odyssey battery died and needed a new one. The mirror button didn't work anymore, even after wiping the mirror and reprogramming. I ended up having to wipe out the garage door opener by holding the learn button down a few seconds. Then the Odyssey mirror programming worked fine. I did need to program my two other openers but thats easy.

Thanks for the note about max number of programmed remotes on the opener itself. After programming my Odyssey, the transmitter I used to train the car no longer worked. I think the Odyssey bumped it off the list. A quick reset and retrain of all transmitters worked like a charm. Would have been tinkering around for 30 minutes without the heads up you gave!

Seems like the homelink buttons can link with either the handheld opener OR link with unit itself hence the learn button on it....

It's the on/off button for auto-dimming function of the mirror. When bright headlight from behind shine onto the mirror, it will auto dim.

If you’ve got a newer Chamberlain opener you can skip the step ladder and lift up the “button” on the wall unit and there is a learn button hiding underneath

Worked the first time, no problems, for me with my new 2019 Odyssey and my garage door opener, Chamberlain Liftmaster pro 2245, 1/2 horsepower. I did wipe memory on the Honda codes and the liftmaster as both the house and Honda had previous owners. Best to start fresh on both.

I have a Craftsman garage door opener that uses a different code each time it opens and closes. It’s probably 20+ years old. I have had no idea programming my Jeeps in the past, but I cannot get it to program my 2018 Odyssey Touring. Any ideas?
