Disc brakes. Letting you go faster for longer compared to cantis or Vs

You can only go as fast as you can safely stop (slow down). Hydraulic disk brakes are the biggest game changers. Try riding anywhere near the speeds we ride now with rim brakes. Then picture riding in any type of wet conditions. The dropper is a close second.
