One fun thing with this series running so long is you can notice the English of international riders getting better and more comfortable the longer they've been on the circuit!

Whoa... there's more news in this episode than I've seen on any of the "real" mtn bike news sites.

The injuries are sad. And that on training. All the best to Miriam too. She's missed, all the best for her recovery.

Out of all the content that comes out of WCs and champs, I always look forward to seeing Dialed most. As always thanks for your guys hard work in both content and for the riders to provide us the most entertainment as possible on race weeks

I love the look on Jordi's face as he sits beside Tahnee, listening as a confessor/psychologist.😅😅

Every time the fox family say to a rider “ I think ya rebounds a bit slow, and it seems to fire back like a jackhammer on 10 shots of coffee 🤣🤣

I’m always surprised that some of the riders appear to lack so much knowledge about their suspension considering how important it is to their results.

great content - sucks about all the injuries!

When they talked about the number of injuries and how physically demanding the track is, I thought: I'm glad this is the one track this year where they won't have to ride a semi-final. Also, since virtually every non-protected rider who completes a quali run will make the final, the pressure to post a fast quali time is reduced (or eliminated). In other words, they can save their best for the finals. If the weather doesn't turn super-wet, the finals could be epic. Haha, they'll be epic either way!

Can you do a deeper dive on front/rear suspension interaction?

just got a ibis ripmo and It came with the marzocchi for and shock are they similar to the fox 36 or 38 or would that be a good upgrade?

I love suspension, but I feel like air is so finicky and it makes me think why we don’t just move to oil and spring combos on the front end.
@lamefart Жыл бұрын
They have oil and spring. Air spring. Lol Some forks offer some metal springs, heavier and less adjustable. Air is more versatile but can't beat the plushness of springs. Suspension tech isn't still there to narrow that gap between air and actual springs. Air springs are always affected by temperature and stiction (there are valves now but should be automatic, eh?).

Man. A lot of their setup issues at Ft Bill are probably stemming from their ride height & head angle. You're not on the center of the bike at 62 or 63 degree head angles. With the berms on track being fast on a shallow slope the front is probably not even pushing into the middle of its travel until they're exiting
@lamefart Жыл бұрын
You can still be at the center of the bike at those head angles. Heck even at the front. Have you seen how Jackson ride his bike? He's like riding a moto. Lol He changed it a tad bit though. It's just weird that he's used to riding steeps from where he's from yet he's always front biased early on attacking every feature. I'll be shitting my pants staying as far away as possible if it got steeper. 😆

Damn talk about making the riders feel like morons about their bike and suspension.. Seen it on a couple of episodes. Guess my next fork is gona be a rockshox..fox mechanics seem stuck up.
