If you ever want to work with yarn but don’t want to crochet or knit, you can do latch hook. You basically get a canvas and the yarn colors you need, along with the hook needed and the pattern. It’s a lot of fun and reminds me of a yarn version of this. Same concept just with yarn.

I use the Pick Me Up pen all the time. I like it better on round diamonds but it's ok with the square. You aren't doing anything wrong to cause the tip to loosen up. It's a very common thing to happen and it just becomes second nature to once in a while snug it up but not hard enough to cause any of the tack to ooze out. I've refilled mine many times with the blue Loctite Fun Tac. It works so much better. I have a second pen just in case this one breaks. Should I have to use the other pen I'm going to remove all of the gray tac and refill it with the Loctite

yes its grey sticky tack , I've seen blue and grey . my pen has the blue , you can also use sticky tack for your diamond pens. I would have wrote the company for those drills to be replaced.

Hello, It was nice watching you talk about your first time DP., mine was from Amazon back in 2016 yet didn't start for real until this year. I have seen KZbin recommend your channel often and tonight was perfect to be able to watch and listen, and I am very happy I clicked on this video. So I’m just starting my new diamond painting that has the square diamonds. But when I use the three place tool I tend to have a lot of trouble trying to line it up to other diamonds. It may just because I’m just starting to use that tool but I was just wondering if you have any advice on how to use the other larger drill pens/adapters. I hope you can help!! Kathy Morrison did you still need help? Is cost a factor when you’re shopping for diamond paintings? If not, “Ever Moment” is supposed to be THE BEST, but it’s a little more expensive. Other than that, it’s really a hit or miss. I’ve gotten diamond paintings from the same seller at different times and one came with oily drills and the next one didn’t. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Kathy Morrison hi Kathy. I have been using Kotart from Amazon. They are produced in China but shipped from the US. I ordered mine in Saturday got it Tuesday of this week. They are a new company so they don’t have very many kits yet but the ones they do have are great an they come in a tube instead of a square box!!!

how do you clean your painting when your done im getting stuff in between the beads when i place them i try to use the tweezers to get some of it out but it all doesn't come out

Heidi Fetzer if you’re doing a round drill, the spaces cause the sticky canvas to show through, therefore there will be stuff stuck to the canvas. My advice to you is to keep the protective covering on it as much as you can while you’re working on the painting, and then when finished, immediately put it behind glass in a frame. Once the dust and stuff is stuck, I don’t think you can get it out from between all the drills. I’m sorry that’s happening to you. 😕 Hope that helps!

Use a soft dry, clean toothbrush to brush over, and inbetween the drills. It helps.
