You have such clever ideas - thank you for sharing them! Your lap desk set up is awesome! When I'm diamond painting, I switch up my background sounds - sometimes i have KZbin videos from stitchers or diamond painters going, sometimes i listen to an audiobook, and sometimes i put on a KZbin video of thunderstorm sounds. I find all of those relaxing as an accompaniment to my addicting hobby. 😊 You have lovely finishes on your wall!

You have a brilliant, imaginative mind! What you did with that lap desk is amazing! Now it's got me thinking. I would love to have a setup like this for my smaller paintings. I'm still recovering from my surgery and can't sit very long at my desk working on my painting because my neck and now my back are just killing me. Something like this would be more comfortable and allow me to work longer. You asked what we do while diamond painting. I get half a glass of wine and turn on some classical music and drift away into my painting. 😊

Shauna Morey My neck and back haven’t hurt since I’ve started using the lap desk. I’m loving it! I’ve actually changed something though-I put the rough side of the Velcro on my lap desk and the soft side on my tools. They were still hurting my hands when I flipped them over to push the drills (which I thought might happen). Problem solved! Thanks for the kind words! I like to think that I make things as efficient as possible and I solve any problems that come my way with practical solutions. Lol! I’m going to do my bigger paintings on this too, but I might not be able to put my tools on my lap desk. But that’s ok.

Megan Thompson when you try a bigger painting oh please do a video. I would love to see how it works for you. I'm working on a 70 x 55 and oh it's killing my neck and back. I could probably make it work because the little computer desk I'm working on now is smaller than my painting so I have to flip it and let it hang off the back of the desk to reach the middle of the painting anyway so I don't strain my neck. I already have a breakfast tray that I use in bed to put my tablet, snacks and drink on so it could be used for my drills and tools. Oh my gosh the wheels are spinning but I think I'll wait and see how it works for you!😁

that's alien picture???very simple, i think i can fulfill it too, within short time.....but i wanna to know why are you like the full drill painting??it will take a long time and many many colors diamonds to choose adhesive or paste on the fabric...so closed one by one...and if i get Trypophobia ,i absolutely can nno finish it...so i would like a new style or called DP 2.0,Round partial painting is better, i think......anyway,hope to see the day you complete it ...asap

Tinmi rayee I like the full drill because I think the end result looks really cool. I’ve done some partials and have a few more partials to do, so I have a variety. To me it’s not about finishing fast, it’s about making something look really neat! I finished both of the DPs in this video a few days ago, I just haven’t made a video yet. Coming soon though!! Happy painting! 🙂

Great video! I totally understand about having alot of one color. I have to do another one also, its driving me crazy and i have the same problem with them sticking together and its annoying ...I like your lap setup. .. :)
