So what did you do just tell them how many drills you needed and size and they sent you a plan canvas? what company did this

Yes, I sent the floss usage chart that just lists all the colors needed and how many spaces need that color and I gave them the measurements of the sticking area I needed. They are called "Catrina"... the typical girl with the skull face paint are Catrinas and it's a huge deal and big part of Mexico's culture :) I'm currently living in Mexico :)

Omg good luck with them. I have one question about how you worked out how many drills you needed. The first one you showed us says you need 1216 drills which was marked as 5.8 bags required (so 6) however, surely 1216 would be 7 bags as it would be 16 drills more than 6 bags?

There is a calculator for the bags on the Heaven and Earth Designs website that helps you figure the bags. I believe it says that there are like 215 drills in each bag, not certain. But what I counted up isn't what the seller sent me. She sent by the calculation of 200 per bag so that there are around 20% more than what is needed.

Hi Doni I hate the wax that comes with the kits so I put this stuff we have in the U.K called Blue-Tack in the end of my pink pen and it works grate I think in the U.S you call it sticky tac give it a try and see what you think xxx

How cost effective is it versus ordering a custom kit already printed?

I am not sure because I have never bought a kit this large before. I paid around $67 for each kit. So if we check the price of a 100 cm by 80 cm. then we will know. Just have to throw in an extra $10 for the pattern I bought.

What would be the best way to get an existing cross stitch picture that I found without the color pattern converted to a diamond painting?

Hmmm, well, is the picture you have in color? I mean is it just like a normal picture? If so, you could scan it to your phone or computer and get it made into a custom.

Diamond Painting by Doni it actually is a cross stitch pattern. I guess if I know the calculation for the canvas and the colors I could order everything

Right! If you have the pattern you just take the dimensions of the cross stitching area, LxW and multiply each side by .25 to get the size of your blank canvas. I was thinking you didn't have the color chart, but if you have that, then that is all you need. You would have to do a lot of counting though to find out how much of each color you will need. That is the great thing about the HAED designs. They have all that already counted for you.

There are a few good ones on Amazon, but the selection isn't as vast and you can't choose the size of the painting either most of the time. JollyLife, Sqailer, Home Deco. I have done a few reviews on Amazon stores if you want to check those videos out to see what I got from them and what I thought of it :)

Diamond Painting by Doni I got a peacock that is actually hand cross stitch (as opposed to diamond cross stitch) that is done by sewing on beads. It’s huge and around 60 some odd different color beads. All the stitches (half stitch) attach a seed bead. I think I’ve lost my mind. Lol. Anyway I thought those pill bottles would work for the beads. Have no idea when I will start this
