Vallejo Light Gray acrylic paint on those pesky silver screws and they blend right in; it's like the exact same shade. I covered the back screws and toggle switch for the eyes in that color as well; really enhances the final product.

DST did a very nice job overall though the visible screws throw me and the light grey, too. The knee thing, that’s confusing... It’s like they did it back to front. They originally showed him with alternate parts for battle mode, so I assume they decided to sell that as another version. I have this and the Mondo Mecha deluxe version coming. It’s a good year for Iron Giant fans.

It almost looks like the legs are misassembled. I wonder if you can switch the upper legs to the other side? Maybe then switch the lower legs for the better range?

I prefer to keep my figures in box as i am a misb collector..... Can this figure be removed from the box without damaging the card? As it comes with light up eyes it may become necessary to unbox it in order to replace or remove the batteries.

Oh the memories of this movie. Well actually not too many about th movie itself but so many on me watching it. Night, probably over midnight and my kid self watching this ginormous robot alone in the living room with a Mc'donalds burger with ketchup and pickles which I actually hate, never eaten it in fact I was more like trying to only bite the part of bread with ni ketchup on it. What a memory, so weird yet so nostalgic now

yoy can fix the thing with the screws, very very easy. Change the for ones with plane head and use some putty and paint.
