Vallejo Light Gray acrylic paint on those pesky silver screws and they blend right in; it's like the exact same shade. I covered the back screws and toggle switch for the eyes in that color as well; really enhances the final product.

The last picture is so dope with the moon light man. Well done!! Being a select guy i would definitely pick up this guy but im still hesitating bc i ran out of space to put him.. Was kinda planning to make a bigguys universe along with kingkong, godzilla, ultraman and stuff like that but.. I don know. But definitely an awesome figure!!!

DST did a very nice job overall though the visible screws throw me and the light grey, too. The knee thing, that’s confusing... It’s like they did it back to front. They originally showed him with alternate parts for battle mode, so I assume they decided to sell that as another version. I have this and the Mondo Mecha deluxe version coming. It’s a good year for Iron Giant fans.

It almost looks like the legs are misassembled. I wonder if you can switch the upper legs to the other side? Maybe then switch the lower legs for the better range?

Oh the memories of this movie. Well actually not too many about th movie itself but so many on me watching it. Night, probably over midnight and my kid self watching this ginormous robot alone in the living room with a Mc'donalds burger with ketchup and pickles which I actually hate, never eaten it in fact I was more like trying to only bite the part of bread with ni ketchup on it. What a memory, so weird yet so nostalgic now

The lights on mine are too bright. The glow comes through the paint at the top of the head. Do you have the same problem?

yoy can fix the thing with the screws, very very easy. Change the for ones with plane head and use some putty and paint.

Well the first scale comparison of king kong, iron giant, and ant man could work because iron giant can be about the same size as a movie comparison and if you use some imagination ant man can just make himself bigger so he can some what scale with iron giant

I prefer to keep my figures in box as i am a misb collector..... Can this figure be removed from the box without damaging the card? As it comes with light up eyes it may become necessary to unbox it in order to replace or remove the batteries.

I know this is from like 2 years ago, and painting them would be much easier, but the legs seem identical could you just flip them to the opposite legs so the screws are on the back?

I think they accidentally swapped the legs on assembly. Promo shots show those screws on the backside of the legs.
