6:35, The way Blue Diamond treated Sapphire and Ruby is based on Garnet's side of the story and not Blue's side of her story. Same thing with Connie and Steven's story when they imagined the characters themselves like Bubby and it would be the same thing for Garnet. Unlike Yellow Diamond, Blue would have given Ruby a chance to plead her case just like how she given Steven a chance to plead his case despite that Rose was the one who shattered Pink Diamond. That is the worse kind of crime than Ruby or Sapphire could ever commit but Blue Diamond had given her worst enemy a chance anyways. It strongly proves not only her redemption but commitment to justice in giving her worst enemies a fair trial including the one who took the very person she loved the most.

Well, in The Answer, Blue Diamond was still in her early stages of grieving since Pink Diamond had just been shattered, which means *anger*. So, she just wasn't having it with anyone while she was on Earth to continue the colony. She didn't care what the situation was, she shattering some bitches and Ruby was probably going to be one of her many victims. You can also tell this by how stoic and silent she seemed, even her face was hooded at all times and she kept herself contained from her Court, all except Sapphire and her Pearl.

It's possible Blue's acting differently because of depression and desperation for closure. It's also possible she's less accepting of shattering gems after what happened to Pink. It's also possible the Gempire resource crisis could have changed how punishments are issued, considering all gems, no matter what status, would be harder to seamlessly replace. Perhaps the growth in the statistical importance of each gem (slight as that is) is the reason they have a court system with public defenders in a dictatorship where such things would only get in the Diamonds' way.

I think it's White Diamond. Hear me out! Did you know the ONLY thing that can break a diamond is - another diamond!?! Now people think it's Yellow Diamond cause of her guilty face and the Pearl's reaction. But I pose a second opinion! As stated by Eyeball, Pink was destroyed by a sword. But, in the Bithmuth episode, Bithmuth said that the sword can only destroy the physical form of a gem! I believe that Rose Quartz poofed pink diamond and then presented it to the only other gem that could shatter a diamond - another diamond! But which one? In the episode, "Friend Ship" (Go watch it) you could see a mural on the wall. You can inspect​ three gems. One is clearly Rose Quartz holding a gem, a very pink gem (a.k.a PINK DIAMOND) presenting it to a White Gem, or White Diamond. Isn't it fascinating how one of the highest-ranking gems didn't bother to attend the trial of the alleged shatter-er of Pink Diamond. Maybe because White Diamond didn't want to become a suspect once all the evidence starts pointing towards her! Any thoughts...? I know I'm horrible at explaining.

Though Blue Diamond sometimes shows a cold hearted demeanor as well as a negative view towards Gems of different colors fusing, she shows that she's not completely heartless, and she was willing to listen to what Steven had to say, even though they still don't that he is, yet is not, Rose Quartz. And maybe her view on cross-fusion might change, as well as seeing organic life, especially human life, the way the Crystal Gems see all life. But, that's just me (I think). Yellow Diamond, *hmm* she's shown to blow a short fuse when things aren't going her way, and that was very suspicious when she silenced both Zircon. She might have shattered Pink Diamond, *OR*, she knows something about it that she doesn't want Blue to know about. Very suspicious.

I actually just rewatched the trial and found it strange that pink diamond, "was a known criminal several hundred years before the shattering." So the other Rose quarts were bubbled well before pink's shattering and kept hence why there were none in pink's court and why our Rose stood out. You would think that blue would have called for a manhunt on earth since she was the only diamond shown to actively try to intercept the rebels (the answer) especially if pink chose to stay on earth for whatever reason :/ I just find it odd that we have 700+ years of Rose and pearl running around calling themselves rebels and were never apprehended on a planet they knew nothing about while being giant and completely pink.

perhaps Blue Diamond has matured over time. She could be following the five stages of grief. She was angry back then, the fusing might have taken place not long after Pink was shattered and she was still enraged, (stage 2). Time has passed and she has reached the level of depression (stage 3) and is trying to reach the next stage which is dialogue (stage 4). Yellow Diamond, on the other hand, is still in the anger stage (again number 2). Also random thought, the stronger a gem the more gems it can shatter. So perhaps some of Pink Diamond was used to make the breaking point. Obviously, it didn't exist at the beginning of the war as Bismuth seemed to recognize the strawberry fields and we know that was a later battle. So Pink Diamond should have already been shattered. Diamond tipped drills are used to cut things as diamonds are so strong. So if Bismuth made the breaking point to shatter a gem, then a diamond tip would be necessary.

What if Blue Diamond was responsible and the guilt made her block her memory of doing it (or Yellow Diamond did something to wipe Blue's memories) but a part of her still feels responsible, hence why she keeps trying to search for the truth in order to truly move on. I think it's too obvious of a set up to reveal Yellow Diamond as the culprit, but if it was Blue, Yellow could very well know the truth and is probably suppressing Blue's memories in order to protect her sister from her own guilt. It would add an extra layer to bot characters and would be unexpected.

Yellow diamond most likely had a small part, but no doubt she had some part in the shattering of Pink diamond, but she didn't actually do it or have a large role. I think that white diamond (or normal diamond?) did it. Maybe not shattered her, but she had a large role in her death. I was just thinking, what if the Blue Diamond that we're seeing now is representative of her true personality? I'm thinking this because we know that Pink Diamond was shattered 6000 years ago, but Ruby and Sapphire first fused 5750 years ago. This means that when the events of The Answer occurred, Blue Diamond would have wanted to capture Rose and make her pay for what she did. However, we know that everything went accordingly up until Ruby fused with Sapphire, at which point the accuracy of Sapphire's prediction changed and Rose got away. Based on this, I think it's possible that Blue Diamond wanted to shatter Ruby because she messed up Rose's capture and used the fusion as justification. So if my theory is correct then I believe that there is a chance that Blue Diamond could forgive Ruby and Sapphire because had Rose been captured that day she would not have been able to find out that it may not have actually been Rose, or at least that she had help. Basically, Ruby fusing with Sapphire and, as a result, Rose evading capture, has allowed her to find out that what she has been lead to believe might not actually be true and that if Rose had been captured during the events of The Answer, then she may never have found this out. For all I know I could be completely wrong but it's fun to speculate.

Blue Diamond has been accused by Yellow Diamond and Holly Blue Agate of growing soft, they view it as a bad thing, but it's not. Blue Diamond lost one of her loved ones and has been mourning for millennia. Over 5000 years of mourning, even in a gem's perspective would really soften you, and cause an increase in compassion. Blue Diamond changed and grew from how she was in "The Answer" She's way less violent and impulsive.

Yellow might actually be the one to be redeemed. She has been running Homeworld all by herself. She sent her greatest Quartz Jasper to deal with the rebels and when that failed sent a ship to rescue her. Meanwhile Blue Diamond's minion Aquamarine though powerful is a much younger gem. The Famethysts were abused at the zoo and Lapis once reaching Homeworld became a prisoner yet again. Blue does not treat her gems as well as Yellow Diamond does and she is a military gem sending soldiers out to war. Think about it.

It was stated that Jasper was the ultimate Quartz and the famethyst were abused you can see that in That Will be All and the Gem Heist. Blue is an emotional wreak. In the song What's the Use of Feeling Blue? Yellow was trying to get Blue back to her duties. And in the trial there were only two diamonds if white could make it she should be there. And let's not forget that Blue Zircon would have been shattered as well if she lost the case. No Yellow is the better gem.

I really think that Pink Diamond might have killed herself and Yellow Diamond either knows about it or suspects it but is in such deep denial about it. Yellow Diamond comes across as angry person who likes being in control and the idea of suicide would be hard for her to process it unless she harbors deep resentment towards Pink for being weak. The real weird part wasn't the fact that Rose somehow appears in Pink Diamond's palanquin but that she somehow escaped as well. Zircon had confirmed that only a Diamond could have pass security but if that was true then Rose Quartz should have been captured right afterwards? Rose was there when it happened but there was no way she could have escaped just like how she couldn't have gotten in the first place. The Diamond in question was the reason how Rose made it inside without anyone seeing her. If it really was Yellow Diamond she would have been prepared for this encounter to set up an ambush and seal all exits but somehow failed to capture Rose when she was all alone? If she was meant to take the blame from Yellow Diamond, she would be an escape goat that she didn't caught despite the huge opportunity to surround and capture her. What else was baffling is that it isn't like Rose to easily fall for an obvious ploy and she is recognized as a brilliant technician even Jasper respects her tactics despite being enemies. Another thing to point out is that Rose didn't tell her friends the truth, they would still trust and believe in her words especially Pearl but judging on their expression it would confirm that Rose hadn't told them that it was a Diamond who could have done all this.

+Luis Cruz, None of them wouldn't have said that she was shattered if they didn't find any of her shards laying around but I could argue that the shards might have been fake or they thought that her remains were disintegrated after they saw Rose supposedly shattered Pink Diamond. There was nothing to gain or reason for Rose to lie to her friends. Homeworld already wants them dead and it doesn't help Rose or her friends by taking the blame for it especially when she would know the identity of the Diamond in question who set it all up but hasn't made any mention of her.
