Diamond Head are an English heavy metal band formed in 1976 in Stourbridge, England. The band is recognised as one of the leading members of the new wave of British heavy metal movement and is acknowledged by thrash metal bands such as Metallica and Megadeth as an important early influence. With 7 studio and 5 live albums under their belt and numerous world-wide tours, the NWOBHM Titans are now getting ready to release their 8th studio offering set for release in 2019 which will see them hit the road around Europe and beyond.
Diamond Head are: Brian Tatler (guitars), Rasmus Bom Andersen (vocals), Karl Wilcox (drums), Dean Ashton (bass), Abbz (guitars).

Rasmus deserves nothing but respect - he has revitalised Diamond Head. One of my favourite bands as a teenager getting into metal. The white album, Borrowed Time and Canterbury were classics to my ears. I still don't think anyone can touch Sean for his voice, presence and overall 'star' quality, but Rasmus definitely comes closest!

I was on the same bill as Diamond Head last year at Hard Rock Hell. It was a pretty fucking proud moment for me. They say never meet your heroes, but I met Brian and he's a proper geezer so bollocks to recieved wisdom.

I usually never favor replacing a vocalist/singer unless he sounds exactly like the former or is better. This guy Rasmus, is spot on. He sounds a little different but definitely great and he breathes new life into this classic thrash band. Very enjoyable for a 50 year old fart like me to watch/listen too.💜👍

@Syx Thats so cool brother. The music keeps you young and grounded. I remember hearing Diamondhead a couple years before Metallica covered them. Along with all the 80's wave of European metal bands. My best friend and I spent every extra moment figuring out those riffs and solos. Sweet And Innocent is still one of my favorite songs ever. I jam that one with coffee daily. Hey Yin over Yang. Thanks for the kind words. We didn't overdub any of the tracking. Sadly the festival didn't setup ambient mics, which would have made all the difference in the mix and really getting the live feel and crowd sound through. Shame, but its always rushed at festivals so you just gotta roll with it :)
