You have the prettiest princess cuts I've ever seen! Most of them I see in stores do look like the other one, like alot of greyish areas in the center. I don't usually care for that cut but I really love the ones you show. Out of curiousity, do you ever get requests for really out there cuts that are kind of bizarre? I've seen some pretty crazy cuts online-oval emerald cut, butterflies, a horse's head, one I saw was a certain part of the male anatomy lol (though not sure if that one was photoshop), stars, christmas trees-I personally don't care for weird cuts & shapes like that & would assume most people probably wouldn't, but was just curious if you ever get the occasional person looking for that type of thing.

Sadly when most consumers see the commonly cut princess cuts they look terrible even alongside blase' rounds. :-/ When princess lovers see these beauties next to even the finest rounds ... no problemo. They easily hold their own. 2. Not many requests for the bizarre. LOL about the male part! :-X Generally these bizarre cuts, while cool in whatever shape they're cut in are usually NOT BRILLIANT at all. One would be better off getting Swarovsky Crystal.

Can I tell anything about a diamond by the numbers on it?

Regarding "Round" diamonds -- The numbers are a good guide, however there are several factors that cannot be determined by the numbers that could affect the brilliance and other factors of a diamond. For instance - if a diamond is hazy, that can't be seen from the numbers. The color hue of the diamond (yellow/brown etc) is another factor that cannot be predetermined by the numbers. Nor will the numbers able to tell you if the diamond is eye clean. Due to lack of symmetry (even in GIA Ex diamonds), "light leakage" could occur making the diamond less brilliant in those area's. Diamonds could also have painting or digging and most labs don't offer those extra specific numbers that will be able to let you know if the diamond falls into that category.

We've sold many "J" colored diamonds to customers looking for something similar to what you mentioned. Some people are even open to "K" colored diamonds. When placed in white gold, the color contrast in the diamond is more noticeable but when using yellow gold, it is more forgiving..
