Everyone says green doesn't need warm greeting, but I also want to say every color has anti ko effects now. It wouldn't make sense that green just can't do anything about it for the entire game. All i'm saying is that warm greeting is counter play to make bad matchups less of a snowball that's a welcome change and it should be. From the entire community crying "we hate triangle meta" "topku meta killed the game" this is a step away from auto loss matchups. I personally would like to see a form of removal for barrier, and less cards to "say can't be removed", "can't be targeted", ect (maybe add some that say can't have power reduced). I think the argument here is why does green have it? and that's fair but if you look at what it means in terms of listening to the community is it a step in the right direction? I'd argue yes

Holy hell, the Warm Greeting Napa extra card is crazy lol. That means droids are a lot stronger into Jiren and I guess it kinda power creeps the Goku ramp in the Gohan decks. Can’t wait to use this lol.

Uni, in your playtesting, what decks do you predict will be the strongest? I want MUI goku to be the best but idk. Thoughts?

I think Broly is gonna be much better with this set, he just needs like 1 more ramp card and hes gonna be meta.

The 3c Tien that blows up a 2c is absolutely a must run card. It blows up black trunks, crit cards, etc. It is necessary to live longer in green. The cell 3 c is not actually very strong, probably would not even run it.

Also the Chiaotzu is not that bad since you may play the Nappa removal extra for 2 on 5-7 energy, then need to cast something for 3. This would probably not get removed, or would draw, or would be 10k in hand, or is 3+ cost for cell lead effect.

I think the effect on Tien is ok, but the issue is 3 energy is a very contested spot in Green between Destructive Strength, Nappa and Goku in Gohan. If you can remove their 2 drop trunks with your Warm greeting that's just infinitely better because it clears up your 3 energy play. and Tien being able to pop a 3 or less would've been so cash munny here T_T

@@UniXTCG That's true in non-Cell green decks it is harder to fit the card. In Cell I don't think you play DStrength or the other 3c cards bc you already ramp and want combo power. I look at Warm greeting as a combo of the 5c gohan, and the 8c cell board wipe, so you can cut each back a bit if needed. Regardless WG is snapped.

Green definitely did not need Warm Greeting. Yellow only had one good match up and now green completely gets around Vegeta. Go home Bandai, you drunk. 🤦

Dog yellow can't manage to get a single care from Bandai. Like the buu package is good but still can't handle or deal with half of the other colors. It's one good matchup just got worse.
