While jazz is not my forte, I have always been intrigued by this lady. After all, as one of the jazz greats, I believe it was Louis Armstrong said, there's only two kinds of music. Good, and Bad. I think hers easily falls into the Good side.

I have huge respect for Kerry O'Brien but I always have remembered his quip at the end of this segment and it still infuriates me today. When he says 'jazz for some, jazz-lite for others' that can only be taken as a sarcastic put down and it isn't fair as Diana Krall is a magnificent jazz pianist and I could give dozens upon dozens of clips that show this to be true. Sorry Kerry, but on this ocassion you got it wrong.
