I'm glad you talked about clean bass in this video. I used to tell people high end/studio headphones have a different kind of bass than most of the random headphones you may pick up at a convenience store. They don't really understand what I'm talking about until I let them listen to some of the headphones I own. This might even be a good topic for a video since most people don't understand what separates headphones like this from others. Abyss has arguably the most satisfying bass I've heard in a high end without sacrificing the mid range or treble.

I got yesterday the Diana Phi... amazing headphone, really. I have just an ASUS STX ii with Burson v5i Op-Amps... sounds really amazing together. Now I understand it, even as 32 ohm headphones, they need more gain to be loud enough. Lucky me, the STX ii is twice as powerful as needed and the sound is crystal clear. My old Beyerdynamic DT 1770 Pro with 250 ohm need less gain. When they say, the V2 forgives more then the Phi, it is certainly true but I am compensating this with the v5i instead of V6. I am 31y old, I hope the Phi will last as long as I live :-)

Diana V2 on the review desk right now Have not shot the review yet, but maybe this is a good indicator for you. Bought it within 48 hours from the person who sent it in for review, LOL It has become my daily driver alongside the susvara 1266 will be next for acquisition and review and comparison against the other top dog in the industry.

I love the design of your Diana series. Very attractive to me, and not something i would usually focus on. They would even turn my head if they were made out of cheap plastic...but i might not buy one.

I create and listen to electronic music. I'm deciding between the phi and v2, and the deciding factor is the level of bass in each. I have a relatively high end solid state headphone amp (Violectric 281) and a high quality DAC (Ayre Codex). I listen to all sorts of music on Spotify and more HD quality recordings on Amazon, not to mention lots of youtube stuff (as well as soundcloud and bandcamp). From what I've heard elsewhere, V2 has a more emphasized bass signature, and I'm leaning that direction. Agree or no? Thanks!

I was always wondering, what weather can planar-magnetic drivers sustain? From cold to hot, and from dry to rainy-humid. Since the diana at least looks like an outdoors headphone, it'd be good to know you can wear it outside.

I've collected a lot of tracks in last 20 years, some of them are pretty hard to find in high resolution, some of them have not so good mastering. In my opinion Phi is absolutely unforgiving to the source material to the level where certain tracks become simply not enjoyable to me. I've heard that Diana v2 is much more forgiving and decided to give it a try and they are my main headphones now. P. S. I use Benchmark Audio equipment to drive these.
