I just wonder if Mz. Ross is a descendant of the house of Ross Stewart ( King James line..they still won't tell the fact that Harriet Tubman Stewart is also from this line of Jacobite Kings 👑) #tellthetruthhollywood

I'm impressed ! I always thought of her as some one that only does what's needed for her style of music but this is real classy and her African fashion & choice of materials to show off the cuts are stunning . Reminds me of Beyoncé because the moves where syncopated correctly as an African tasteful energetic feminine classic choreography . I'm blown away at miss D Ross talent .😃😌😉👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️

Ms. Ross turned down money offered her by South Africa's notoriously racist Sin City and overall refused to perform under an apartheid regime which many other so called "Black" artists jumped on the next plane and sold out. RESPECT to Ms. Ross, you dig.

Tracy Sharp I think many blacks in the USA didn’t even know about Apartheid until very late. It was never discussed in media or depicted in movies to my knowledge. I didn’t know of it until the 80s and my parents didn’t know until I told them. Only one black person I knew had known of it and she was an activist. Don’t blame the average person, blame the media, schools and Hellyweird.

@Alain Quartermaine if you saw Mahogany the whole delimma of why they are not going to choose her as a MODEL in Italy is because she is not well endowed. If Ms Ross can make fun of herself in the movie she had a big hand in, why can't we as fans be in on the joke?

..see this!? *...YOU SEE THIS!!?* ..Miss Ross serving AFRO VOGUE (to middle class white folk) back in 1968; this was a BIG to-do, 'cause African Dance / Culture wasn't prominently featured on major networks in the 60's....Diana's dance showed the World she was VERY much in tune with her 'heritage', & opened the doors for People to view 'other' cultures that instinctively display their being(s).... I miss the 'wink' in the last shot, though ...ha-HAA! (1:13) ..viva Miss ROSS!!

@the grand canyon is Egypt We had a great childhood in Detroit and the whole area in those days, the 60s and 70s. Detroit was much different then. There w as so much for kids to do and enjoy. Television, although there were only 3 main channels (ABC, CBS and NBC), along with a few independent stations. They all had many programs for children and families to watch together. Canada was close by so we also got their television stations.
