Great Video. I purchased this rifle last year for my wife to get her into shooting i found it for $149 thats shipped out the door. I thought i was going to get scammed but it showed up fed ex few days later. After my first look i was like damn this is a really nice looking rifle. I did test shots and as you added a barrel ring. Then tested it again with crosmen prem 14.3gr hollow and damn this thing punched a nice group at 25 yards. Figured i stretch it out to 65 yards and again punched nice group. I told the wife this rifle priced at $149 or even the going $199 you cant go wrong. I catch myself using this a lot. I made a cap with 3D printer to cover the fill port. Also made a LDC because this thing is loud just as loud as a 22lr. But again the 3D printer worked out great to keep it down to backyard friendly.

Thank you so much for this video. I had bought this rifle about 6 months ago, and had the same feed issue with pellets. I sent it back to Pyramydair and got the Umarex Gauntlet in .22. I love my Gauntlet, but the size of it is kind of a problem for the kind of pesting I am doing(Grey Squirrels in my pecan trees). This video gave me the go ahead to order another, and opt for the 10 for 10, to make sure everything is sorted out with the gun. The light weight and power of this gun makes it Ideal for what I need it to do. Thanks again!

For the money i like this gun. 3 neck fusions is crazy pain!) God knows im not crying to you about pain with your struggle (glad your doing good) im preaching to the qhoir. Unless bench rested or in a blind my .25 cal mrod is as worthless as carrying a tree trunk.. After watching your last vid i pulled and recrowned my varmint on both ends. cleaned the black china right out of it, replaced the cheapy set screws &, started over. No more jams everythings smooth. I thought the problem was with the mags. Nope barrel. Ozark air gives a good instructional vid on fixing loose jammy mags . I just seemed to be doing really well then my bolt handle broke. Lol. At this point my only negative is that the buyer may need to know how to tinker at least a little & have the understanding that at some point your gonna work on this multishot pcp purchased for less then $200. Cheers sir.

Part of the reason you gout less issues with your rifle then folkes with .22 - both caliber feature the same outer barrel diameter. Due to this your .177 barrel got more beef and your pellets got less mass, so you get less barrel flex form the start. My .22 version need a crowing job, added a second set screw to the trigger, moved the sear spring right next to the pivot point - so it is now a two stage hair trigger. Also added a regulated valve to the tank and dropped the restrictor/gauge block for it. Doing all this I also switched all the factory junk o rings for good quality o-rings. Last I shimmed the locking cutout in the reviser with some brass stock to reduce the play between receiver and bold handle pin. With that fix the Bold handle won't blow open anymore nor hammer the rear of the receiver notch down.

I wonder if the increase in accuracy is because of the second barrel band or because the moderator is a touch more straight upon reinstallation. I have definitely heard of PCP rifles having a slightly crooked moderator that impacted their accuracy. I know the channel host has passed on, but anyone else reading this, do you have any thoughts on this issue, whether it is the second barrel band or the reinstallation of the moderator that is actually increasing the accuracy? Thanks.

Nice video Kenny I'm glad to see that you're reviewing some of the PCP guns you know I have had several break barrel guns and I guess it's just because of how they shoot they have a lot of vibration and they've got a lot of forward and back momentum in a break barrel and they are really hard to shoot to be really accurate with I have for PCP guns now and I have sold all my break barrel guns because I get the best accuracy of the PCP rifles hope to see more

Thank you for the review on the Diana stormrider, I have a question for you, Did you try different positions with the barrel band, moving it forward and rearward? If you did, does it effect accuracy (barrel harmonics) in any way? My father-in-law is thinking seriously about getting him one, he ask me if I thought there is a sweet spot for the barrel band on this rifle. I thought you might have tried different positions before you settled on the position yours was in at the time of this video. I sent him the link to your video, he sends his thanks to you as well. A) Move the barrel band closer to the stock. B) Try it at 20 yards. C) Could be the scope rings.
