I was surprised when she mentioned Autism Speaks...I've heard people with autism talk very poorly about that organization and I have to agree with their arguments as to why.

Thank you to the lovely Diane Kruger and her mentor Alex for helping her portray a character that was so good.....she is directly responsible for me learning I am Aspie at the age of 47 on my own! You cannot know what door in my mind this unlocked.......how much it explained EVERYTHING in my life that was awkward as life went by. And being self aware of it now has helped me immensely in controlling how I react to any and all situations, as well as losing my inner stigma of shame thinking something was always just a little bit off about me...... This show changed my life......Diane and Alex nailed it! Thank You!!!!!!!

Autism Speaks are terrible... but Diane is wonderful, and although she isn't on the spectrum herself, she does a wonderful job in this role and she represents us very well. She truly captures what it is like to be one of us, actively participating in the neurotypical world. I feel that the key factor in her ability to portray one of us so well, is that she really gets into the headspace of an autistic person and reacts from that way of thinking. Diane Kruger is an amazing actress and an ally.

God job on the interview. Still amazed that you don't run away from the camera, I know I would.

It was absolutely brilliant. The protagonist in it is called Saga Norén. Some of the best telly I've ever seen. ❤️

Good interview. I admire how personable and friendly Diane is in this interview. She seems really down to earth and approachable. I find it interesting that although she is German, I couldn't really pick up on an accent. She sounds almost completely American.

Well done, Alex. Happy to see her, and I was glad with her rendition of the character...I'm concerned how she will adapt socially, but somehow be ready for a tense situation such as police procedural combat. Looking forward to this show.

Yea, I was amazed as well, I know that I wouldn't do all this video (and being recorded thing) so bravo. The show looked interesting the first time I saw the trailer, didn't know that the character was on the spectrum.

Diane seems like such a sweetheart; I'd love to meet her someday. The "National Treasure" films are great, and I think she'd make an incredible Sue Storm in a "Fantastic Four" movie.

I should hope that someone figures out what the problem is, so that she can self-advocate and realize how she can grow herself. That's something I'd look forward to.

I did like The Bridge and Kruger's character, but I thought her character had mostly male asperger traits. I feel like the writers and people who helped her get into character were probably predominantly male. Could be wrong, but it would make a lot of sense.

Haha. good point. So that's the trick, maby I should go buy myself a big expensive camera and make people use that when they want me in the picture. hehe. No but seriously, you seemed a bit stressed. Hat of to you good sir.

How does "The Bridge" compare to "Bron/ Broen"? Even though the storyline is exactly copied in the first season, I find that the American idea of situating the action on the Mexican US border to be far more interesting and full of possibilities. I have a hard time understanding how the American show did not get renewed for a third season, and how the Scandinavian one did. Either way, Diane Kruger is a far more talented actress than her Swedish counterpart, and more beautiful. She alone gives the American version more charisma. Add to that the perfect setting and atmosphere of the American show.

The Bridge is the redemption of Diane Kruger for The Host. She is really a good actress how she end a shitty movie like The Host.

I find that Diane is doing a fine job of portraying a character on the spectrum, without getting too schmaltzy, or morose for that matter. There is an honest balance being shown, between useful functioning and not quite fitting in.

edit out the interviewer; he/she adds NOTHING. The questions are OK, but I don't need to see his nodding simp face.
