Oh how I love these! Definitely my next project. I love your reminder not to over work it because I tend to tread on that fine line! I’m getting use to having a “lose” wrist and that can be challenging because I do Zentangles and it’s exact with no slack in the wrist!! 🤷‍♀️ But it’s all for fun and I always have fun painting! Hi and thanks for your question. The MAB paints are different from the Kuretake, Etchr and others that I’ve used in that they are basically much more intense. Some of the silver ones have got actual flakes of silver in them and some of them are holographic - looking different colors from different angles…. Some are reflective, like tiny mirrors … she has a lot of choice and as she does free shipping worldwide for orders of $40 (I think that’s right) you can try them out - she has dot cards too. Use DIANE10 to get a 10 percent off. Hope this helps!

@@DianeAntoneStudio I was thinking about it too but once I looked into it, most of the "recipes" made huge quantities of each color. More than I would use in a life time. So I think I'll leave the paint-making to the experts! I am thinking of ordering MAB watercolors.

Hi, thanks for your question. Yes, it would be effective but not quite the same as the MAB paints are more metallic and glittery. But still it would be nice.
