Just as she was released @2:37 I burst into tears. There is something monumental about how afraid she was, the raw fear, the completely primal scream and how insanely happy she was while she was swinging under the bridge. I'm both elated for her, I wanted to give her a big hug, and jealous at how she faced it.

The process that she just went through was the exact same when I was getting my blood taken - TERRIFIED of needles and had to go in the room by myself for the first time ever without support… The feeling you get after facing your fear by yourself is the most exhilarating feeling ever and it is the best… I still get nervous getting injections but I’m not as bad as I used to be… Diane did BRILLIANTLY 🥳

The moment just before the buckle was realised and the slow motion through the air was amazing! Such an achievement!

Love love love this programme! Didn't know about her, Chelcee, Owain, and Tamsin before this. And I was so proud of them like I know them personally in this episode. I'm looking for interviews of the participants to talk about their experiences and now rewatching this again. 😄

I will never understand why people think jumping backward from great heights is some kind of psychological breakthrough. It's completely natural to be afraid of great heights or water cold enough to stop your heart. Those are the instincts that keep you alive.

Facing and overcoming your fears and doing things you thought you'd never be able to do can be a powerful experience.

You sit in your comfort while the rest of us take the world head-on. Fear in your head or your heart will stop you in your tracks. How can you make a change in the world when you cannot make a change in yourself. So, don't disrespect people who push themselves out of their comfort zone as that is where true change begins. I hope you will be happy in your life of stagnation. Also, where do you think society would be if we never overcame your so-called "natural" fears? As an example, we would not be flying anywhere.
