Nice collection of history. The two sticks might be crutches for someone who might have had paralysis or a chronic problem...maybe. I love finding things like that. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Congrats on your book published 💐🎉. Such an amazing daily life journey. Keep updating your satoyama life diary. I'm a fan of Japan's satoyama after visited Kyoto & Biei countryside. Therefore I'm really enjoyed watching all your 60 videos 🙂
Nice to see you again! 🙂 I enjoyed watching you show the various tools and artifacts from your country home. I recommend keeping them and displaying them in your home. If there are any spirits in your house, they will apreciate that you honor them and will not cause you any problems. 👻😉 Congratulations on getting such a prominent location and amazing presentation for your books at the local bookstore. 👏 I hope many people buy a copy and enjoy sharing your adventure as they read through the pages. Thank you for sharing.🙏
Yaaay! It's good to see you two are back. It's amazing that underneath all of that crap you'd be able to find a few treasures. The dishware is the best I think. Some of the other items would need remodeling and even then what would be done with them? 9:22 lol, I've seen American versions of these industrial era ads before, but it's interesting to see how other cultures reflected that era. 13:20 one good thing about this house is that you get a lot of compost material. 14:20 hahahaha I was wondering how Pikachu would react in public and there it is Pikachu shocked, but then she quickly controls herself. She is in public after all, got to remember to stay undercover, lololol.
I am so happy to see your first video of 2022. Very interesting items you have there. Strange that the sheet with the times table had a picture of the French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte on it. Congrats on the book. I found your book was available on Amazon Japan and they shipped to the US. I did have to create a Amazon Japan account and through using the Google translate on my phone I was able to order the book. Will have to use the same app to read the book when it gets here hehe. But the pictures in the book look good. Hope you get to start working on the house soon.

WooHooo! I got the book today. My wife asked why I got the book because I cannot read Japanese. I showed her how my phone with Google Translate was able to give a good translation of what was written. Love the section of the tools used. I love tools. Also was amazed about the break down of the cost of money to do the disposals and how many trips you have to make. The one fact that amazed me was how many kilometers your drove in truck doing the disposals. I also enjoyed the before and after pictures. Looking forward to more videos.
The wooden frame with lots of wires is part of a weaving loom. Weaving is a great activity at any time but I imagine past owners of your property made cash weaving in winter when it was too snowy to work outside. I wonder what fiber they wove with maybe they produced their own silk? congratulations on your book.

Opening the old can of protein... "Here is the opening video that no one wants to see." I really closed my eyes 😆 I remember the opening of old jars, boxes, cans, etc. that contained unpleasant-looking stuff in your earlier videos haha
