I have been there.This is exactly my story.I and my husband waited for 10 years, i did fibroid surgery. The Doctor told me I have to be pregnant as soon as possible. We had to do IVF. All this years of waiting we spent lots of money, we had no savings, I went through pains.But thank God my baby boy is here now.

As someone who survived something similar, don’t ever try it. Everrrrrrr. I was in a relationship where the guy showed me to his parents, ok come and see my parents, no. Multiple occasions, and the next thing was get pregnant before marriage 😂😂😂😂 His mother even supported his madness. I legit told this woman when everything scatter that, God knows why he took your only daughter from you because how can you even support your sons madness. I dusted my slippers and ran 440. Now married. When I met my husband the only assurance he gave me was WAIT MAKE SMALL MONEY ENTER MY HAND. JUST SMALL MONEY. MY people, when this man got a reasonable sum, he was ready. This was someone i dated for 4 months , meanwhile someone i was with 3years wanted a baby. I am happily married now and we are trying very soon for a child. God would make it easy for us. Amen.

I so much love the fact that you told her “God knows why he took your only daughter from you”. To remind her how wicked of a woman and mother she is. Because, if her own daughter was still alive. My baby is 6 months after waiting and trying for 10 years God surprised me despite being told i had to go through IVF and will need an egg donor too because for 10 years no viable eggs were seen in any tracking over the years. I discovered I was pregnant 8 weeks 6days and I was going to the gym everyday. God did this. I am still in awe of God's mercy. Ife and Chef.T welldone and sorry Chef.T for all you went through.

Been there and it was not beans! Mine was a fourteen year wait. To God be the Glory after the fifth time (IVF), God gave me my son at age 50! It was not an easy journey. If you think praying to get pregnant naturally is hard…IVF will make you pray 🙏 even more maybe because it’s men handling it. You need God’s hands and eyes to be very much part of the process! I’m glad the doctor made it clear that you need to believe in God for the whole process.

I really hope this lady gets to read all these comments and takes counsel. I think that even if the guy gives you a ring now, you should still walk away. He has a mindset flaw. He has a character flaw. With these two in place, even if he meets your family now and marries you, you might not have a happy marriage or even divorce in the nearest future, especially because you think differently from him. I actually have a lot of thoughts on this. I just pray earnestly for you that you make the right decision.
