Another channel that I really love to watch is the behaviour channel, it’s 4 behaviour experts who take crime interviews or popular culture interviews and breakdown the body language and behaviour 😊 also great for alongside sewing as they are quite long

I absolutely started lol, when you said Monopoly is boring. I so agree. Your hair is so lovely. I’m anxious to see your Mom’s bag when done, ssooooo cute. I love the ribbing handles. Btw, I live in USA and I’ve been on Two murder trials, very exciting. I love the entire judicial system process. They give you a notepad and pen to take notes during the trial. After deliberation, the court retrieves and they become part of the case evidence. I feel ver patriotic when I serve on a jury. I’ve been o about 5 cases but only 2 were murder.

THank you so much about your little Monopoly Story! 🥰 My boys have always loved playing Monopoly. Older was so kind and would play, but would patiently lose as quickly as possible so they could move on to something else. Everybody's happy 😁 They will still play when they get together, highly entertaining to watch! One of my favorite photo subjects is them playing games together 😍😍 Totally get the neatening up bit. At the end of every project, folding away the pattern, emptying the waste can, AND putting away all the ideas for things that have popped into the head and out of the cupboard while I was working on said project. 😜 Love watching these chats and hearing about the day!

Loving your daily vlogs. You've helped me by seeing you do a bit of sewing here and there , as time allows, to produce a finished garment. I've been unwell for the past couple of years and have been left with fatigue so I can't sit and sew for hours at a time. I still want to sew my own clothes but I can only sew for 30 to 45 minutes at a time. Thankyou for showing how you fit sewing into your busy life and produce beautiful garments. Hair and nails look great! You are so productive again and I’m trying to snatch little bits of time like you do. The fabric would make a lovely Fleur or saltwater slip if you haven’t enough fabric. . I get stuck on one pattern quite often and keep repeating it as it’s all I can think about and visualise.😆I watch your vlog while I eat my breakfast. I just listen to music while I sew and it calms me down. I don’t think I could watch a vlog and sew as I’d just listen. 😊

Well, thank you for a lovely week of videos. It did go fast. Sometimes I feel like I’m in a time warp 😅. I’m like you, I can’t function properly in a disorganized environment. It drives me crazy. I’m sitting at my dining room table and drinking my second latte. I’m not a morning person so it takes me until 10 to really get started. I’m just going to play around today. Sundays are lazy I don’t care about adulting days 😄. Man, I love that flower fabric. Fabric Godmother has some really beautiful fabrics. I bought some, linen viscose - Le Weekend (ivory). I bought a 20x20" quilting ruler to make it easier to cut out bag patterns where the measurements are given rather than a pattern piece. May be worth the investment if you plan to make a few bags, it was worth it to me. Your bag is looking fab.

I had a little giggle when you talked about monopoly. When I was a teenager, my friends and I would play for hours, even making our own rules! Now, it's so boring. I don't even like playing card games. I would rather, read, sew, crochet, anything crafty. When making a pattern that just tells you to measure out the pieces, I actually do it on my pattern paper. Then it's already for multiple makes. The bright flower fabric is so unique but I would have no idea what to make with it. I listen to music while sewing.

The webbing looks awesome! I think the pocket is cool in the same fabric because it's like a secret pocket. My sister loves true crime and she's always recounting to me the grisly details of what she's watched. Personally, my depressed brain doesn't need more real life horror, it's bad enough trying to keep up with politics lol.

Hi Ruan. I was glad to see you went for the striped lining fabric for your bag. I thought it was a perfect match. Have you tried monopoly deal with your boys? It is much faster but still seems to satisfy that Monopoly itch! It's a card game. Think you can get it in Tesco - it is just the size of a usual deck of cards.

I watch all of these true crime people too!! I’m obsessed. I also like dateline and 48 hours, and 48 hours Australia. I hacked to AA Anthea to be the Ganni and it worked great! I now will make a red linen dress but I have 6 more projects ahead of it to sew. I had a cutting marathon. I have a question… what is the most professional but comfortable dress pattern you’d make for an interview or an important presentation? I don’t like blazers so I have been looking.

At first I couldn't understand how you could watch KZbin whilst you sew but I too listen to lawyer you know and a couple of others. If there is something to actually watch, I stop sewing. However, I predominately listen to audio books whilst I sew. Bag making hasn't really appealed that much yet. I made a couple of totes for family a few years back and I have the caddy pattern and all the bits but I cannot bring myself to actually sew. And........ My daughter sometimes sits with me when I am watching you and she decided that I need to make her a slip dress. Got to admit, I am not a fan of cutting the blooming thing out. It's enormous and I cut out on my kitchen worktop! It was not easy. She chose a very slippery, shiny, green crepe. It moved as soon as you looked at it. Not looking forward to sewing that. She wants an oversized shirt from one of my BTPD fabrics, that is cut out too, so I will make that first. I also decided that I am a selfish sewer, I am not so keen on sewing for others.

Re bag pattern I usually create my own pattern pieces when it’s just measurements that way you always have it for each time. You may have already done this but just in case 😊

My tip regardless my bag patterns, I measure and cut out my own paper pattern pieces when I purchase the bag pattern so that I don’t have to measure every time, I can’t bear to measure every time 😩😂😂

I actually have a question … do you have a tough time getting your fusible interfacing to stay fused? The last couple bags I have made have been infuriating because the interfacing has basically fallen off by the end and I have to just sew it in place. I wonder if I am doing something wrong. That is good to know about those patterns not having any real pattern pieces. I can’t cut squared up pieces without a pattern, so I usually ask my sister (a quilter) to help me cut out rectangles and such.

I always struggle with that too! I changed the interfacing to woven interfacing and it is SO much better. More expensive but worth it in my opinion 👍🏼

I was so sure I would mess up measuring the pieces for my Buckthorn, I decided to cut out pattern pieces. As I am on my fourth Buckthorn it turned out to be a good decision! 😂

I watch most of the channels you recommended. You should also check out Emily D Baker for live trial coverage and Runkle of the Bailey as well. Also great channels with lawyers breaking down cases. Another true crime documentarian to watch is Swoop. Her videos are incredibly well researched and informative too
