Who else has realized how great Diary of a Wimpy Kid continuity is? You've really got to hand it to Jeff Kinney. There's consistant characters, locations, and more always filling their designated roles, which are built on as the books progress. Now all we need is some grand, climactic Diary of a Wimpy Kid crossover event, like Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Endgame. And you know Manny would be the villain.

Yep, I remember this! If you've read the first three Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, you aren't missing much. It was basically just the first three books, but online like an e-book, scrambled around a bit and combined into one book, with an ad every ten pages or so. This existed before the published versions that most people are familiar with. Jeff Kinney was also responsible for the creation of Poptropica on the same website.

Funnily enough, the funbrain version was what I grew up with. I never bought the books because I figured they were the same… and by the time I realized there were too many of them for that to be true, I felt I was too old to read them. Hilarious that it took me until today to look up what happened after the ending of the online version, surprisingly the wish fantasy at the end was immediately retconed in the series proper. Oh well! I liked the original ending.
