Love the content Richard! As an elite Spartan/OCR racer who starter late at 34, I have been trying all sorts of things to close that gap with the more seasoned athletes that has more years and experience on me, I've been focusing on a lot more research where to be more efficient in training, recovery, racing, supplements and things as you mentioned sodium bicarbs or stuff like beetroot's nitric oxide. For sodium bicarbs, I have been using a cream instead of taking it in to avoid GI issues, although I do want to try intake as well during training. Cheers for the content and looking forward to more.

Baking soda wow I have some in the refrigerator lol. I love cornstarch for energy! And use a pre-work out with beta Allen andL citrulline malate and with L arginine. Bone with just a little caffeine!😜 My own homemade cocktail I also use. Beats for nitrates. Coach and blue what are your thoughts and cornstarch for energy production it’s just a carbohydrate? Thank you for your feedback!❤️🙏

Coach and blue I just read an article and breathing technique. With a five ratio 2 to 3. Because each breath you will take will alternate the foot you strike on left versus right foot step. What are your thoughts on this technique? I think I might’ve read it in a Jack Daniels book or watched it on a Jack Daniels video thank you for any advice.❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👟👟🏃🏼♂️😎🇺🇸 Thank you for the fantastic videos you always post and running mechanics. And efficiency. Stay strong.

The slow breathing is very easy!!! I use my right foot. Every 2nd right foot strike I breathe out then count it. Ie.. 1,2,3,4,15 and I let it fully out. To change pace I increase cadence or stride length . It also totally distracts the mind. Before you know it, the run is over!

Hey coach should cadence always be constant no matter the pace?
@diazhp4 ай бұрын
@@cadattack7819 cadence should not be how you modulate pace. There is no good reason while running to be below 180 spm.

Can summarize the 6 running tips or timestamp it? I don't have time to listen 30 minutes

If it mattered to you, you would make time. Shape up Kyle.

@@julianb1550 don't assume I have the same freedom of time as you. Who made you gatekeeper, Julian.

Focus on arm swing (arms in, elbows back, use it to raise cadence). Breath slower. 0.3g/kg of body weight baking soda to reduce lactate effects. Water on your head to reset a bad run and cool down. Jumping rope for training, specifically pogo style. Hill training, both ways. There's some good details to be had by watching, but yeah not everyone has the time.
