If I remember from last year, dice basically snubbed all Japanese games. FFXVI didn’t get nominated for music for example. Probably cause the panel is all western devs. Not a great award show imo

Played Balatro when it came out and didn't like it. Tried it again recently and my opinion didn't change. It's not fun to play. Don't understand why this game is loved.
