Love the talent. Love the confidence. Do not love the bravado. Excellence speaks for itself, and bragging, trash talk, etc. tears it down. Even if you can back it up. I've seen Anthony Edwards go both ways. So I hope he fosters his more intelligent classy side as he matures in the league. I think we need a higher standard for character in all professional sports. We teach these kids how to be stronger and run faster and play better, and I think we also need to be teaching them how to be better all around, and also demanding that they demonstrate character to the broader audience in public. So as they get older they can be inspired to exemplify true excellence means much more than a jump shot, a dunk, or a defensive stop. Just one man's opinion.

No , he was given the green light to show case an up and coming talent ready to take over after the old guard retires . He is a great young prospect , but not the level of a young lebron or Carmelo . But, he has appeal . The NBA needs to find that next face , post lebron . He's being given a tryout to see how much appeal he has .
