To be honest, if you look at the unit readout it I get it. It looks like ByuN has an even army supply - but 8 of that is Medivacs. I can see why ByuN would feel like he doesn't have enough strength to actually kill off those DT's. I don't think that we looked closely enough at the various Orbital commands and their energy as well.

@@gam1ngfr3ak It was in the middle of the map with reinforcements on the way. I guess he could've thought DTs were just going to split into all his bases? but that's stupid for the protoss to do since he doesn't know how much ByuN has at home

Trap had way better tech even though the army supply was close. Even though the colossus went down he had the robos, robo bay and dt tech. Byun had no Vikings, libs, tanks, and not enough bio to be aggressive. I don't think the game was over, byun did have way better upgrades, but he probably was thinking he was gonna get smothered by robo bay units if he kept playing.

I think the attack in the 2nd game was perfectly timed. Byun sniped the upgrades of Trap but Trap struck with a far superior (in tech) army than Byun and did an amazing flank on the reinforcements (while in contrast Byun walked 2 widow mines under the colossus) that would have allowed Byun to fend that off. At the point of gg he knew that his 4th that he made a PF was 100% going to go down and with the superior tech, of the protoss and us knowing Byun doesn't like long games he probably preferred saving his stamina for next game when Trap has an additional 30% chance of attacking himself :P

100% dead PF? with 1 colossus, 3 stalkers and 5 DTs half without shields? The PF could almost solo that army, Byun still had 3/4 ghosts alive under that flock of medivacs, plus he had 8/10 supplies of bio fresh off the barracks... As Winter said, Trap can't push that (keep in mind that Trap doesn't know that the last 2 units out of the starport weren't 2 more vikings, he saw one during the fight) as for Trap having superior tech, all but 1 colossus died and Byun is about to be up 3 upgrades, so I'm not sure you can say that "knowing Byun doesn't like long games he probably preferred saving his stamina for next game" that I can agree with, even if at worst he was even

Hey winter was wondering something... You said a Shockwave is potentially the highest damage in the game against Gateway units wouldn't a Raven added into the Mix w/ Antiarmor missile be so much better for this setup... Yes you potentially a medivac and its addional Hotkey for having it on-top of the ghost.. but think about it... Your melting the Shields w/ shockwave and the Antiarmor missile shreds the armor... what you think?

This isn't how AA missile works. "The Anti-Armor Missile inflicts no damage, but reduces armor and shield armor by 3 on all units within the blast radius. Armor is not capped at 0, so units with less than 3 armor will still take 3 additional damage per attack. The effects of multiple missiles do not stack." So basically AA missile works the same against shields AND armour.

It is possible to put Enemies into a Negative Amour State where they take increase damage i have done the Numbers. ___ SO BASICALLY AA MISSILE WORKS THE SAME AGAINST Shields AND AMOUR IS FULL OF SHIT :D Doesn't take away the Shields of the Protoss it only takes Amour down by -3 from there base stat. And yes it go in the Negative. Have fun silver player :D

If adding ravens into the mix was practical and meta then do you not think we'd be seeing this in pro matches regularly? My best guess is that the APM to pull off what you're suggesting has not been deemed worth it by pros. As the counterplay to an AA missile is to split units. EMP is more reliable in that regard, you're going to get value if it lands whereas AA has more factors outside your control, plus is much riskier and difficult to control. Also, if you could read, my post quoting the fucking wiki explains negative armour you condescending prick.

Byun won 3-2, but really potentially 4-1 with that early leave where he had double the upgrades. All without ever actually making tanks haha. MAKE HYDRA TIER ONE, den unlocks after pool, Upgrades unlock at lair tech. God it would make z v toss bearable to watch again.

I can't even put in words how much do I detest Protoss. Everything from them seems so broken. What I hate the most is whenever I choose some aggressive build as Terran, if they choose some aggressive build too it's Terran that has to defend. Because they need just battery at home.

It's weak at high levels because there's not much more than that you can do. Zerg and Terran are hard to use because you have to actually press buttons and make decisions and stuff. On that same token, your decisions actually matter. You can play protoss wearing mittens.
