I'm ordering a generator in the morning, without the engine. It's $430 cheaper and I get to use whatever engine I want. Then I can weld. I have a motor I can use for now. It's $510. It's getting windier now, and it bugs me to get my windmill up before short winter days. I filled 2 more buckets. That's 20 now, and I need 2 more. Guess I will get a few tomorrow. Bad storm in the morning with hail, so I have to go bring most of my solar panels in tonight. I'm unloading wood so I can go get some more. I used the " hide it under the bed for now" trick to buy me some time to get another shelf built for cans. As far as the Tesla, I would have included a solar charging kit with the cars, to make them worth buying, instead of depending on a failing grid. He says he only hires geniuses, so why didn't one of them notice that car sales were directly related to being able to charge the car for free, especially more worth it that way to the average consumer. I do not believe that he is that smart of a business man, or he would have noticed that and fixed it by now, thereby selling a ton more cars that way. So I wouldn't be surprised at any nutty thing he does. He doesn't have good business sense though.

Well I wound up going to Tulsa, and buying a different generator. It is a 3000 watt generator with a Honda engine. So I've been trying to run the battery bank down enough to get the charger to come on in the inverter. I have been baking chicken for two hours, and I can't get them low enough. The inverter will cycle through a charge cycle I think when power comes on so I guess I will start it up and let them charge up and see what happens. I'm still going to fix the bigger generator but I need one now, so I got this one. It was $869 with tax. It only holds a half gallon of gas and runs an hour and a half on that. But that 's just what I need for a battery charge, or to run the welder for awhile. I'm starting it later to see how loud it is, and try it out. This is the break in run. I stopped and got a gallon of oil too. The model is a Winco W3000/C. So that's my prep for the month, lol. It was cloudy and it rained so I thought the batteries were low enough to where I could get it into charge mode. That never happened. The Twenty Mule Team picked a heck of a day to be stubborn about discharging. It is going to be colder soon so I figured I had better get my stuff in better shape. I'm ready to go vote. I was really glad to get my generator. I was afraid it would get cloudy and I wouldn't have one. This one is a commercial one they sell to contractors. He said a lot of roofers use them for patch jobs. They call it the Lil Dog. Of course, they had a Big Dog there too. 12k watts. One more step done towards being energy independent. And I can run my little welder with it, woo hoo. It was good enough to build my wood stove with last year. Tomorrow I'm putting a new top piece or two on there to sit a skillet on. A little off grid welding music, finally, please...

It's definitely for his own gain! He's with them all the way. A friend of mine worked for a TTY company Captioning and transcribing phone calls for deaf people. Almost everyone was laid off so that they can use AI To caption the phone calls instead of people. All of the calls were recorded leading up to this. so it would seem to me that they took all of their voices and inflections and words And used it to develop their programs. If a company like that can do it then why wouldn't Elon Musk use it to develop Creepy robots

Elon Musk may tangentially favor more balanced freedom of speech but his interest of Twitter is unlikely to be just based on being a white knight of the people. He wants to use the existing platform/infrastructure as a crypto exchange forum. He and Jack Dorsey collaborate a lot in crypto. He also is thinking to use Twitter to relaunch Vine. And yes the data collection is incredibly valuable too and in fact may be why he’d prefer Twitter not be an exclusionary left wing echo chamber but rather be more broadly data representative.
