😂😂 80's GM was the best!

Everything that person said is almost entirely fabricated nonsense. GM was NEVER sued by Ferrari. Pontiac had NOTHING to do with the MERA. Corporate Concepts did the conversions and they were the ONLY ones that had legal issues with Ferrari. MERAs were built on brand new Fieros, offered at very few select Pontiac Dealers and it was considered a dealer option, not unlike a Conversion Van option. It most certainly DID NOT come from the Pontiac factory like that! NONE of the body panels were made by GM and NONE have a factory GM stamp. The entire body was fabricated and installed by Corporate Concepts in Capac, Michigan. The Fiero frames were not modified at all. The Fiero was left almost completely stock, that is how the Pontiac dealers were able to still offer the Factory Warranty. The dealers didn’t replace the MERA badging. Does that make sense? Do you think it would have been worth getting sued by Ferrari? Yes, Corporate Concepts agreed to destroy the molds in the settlement but it didn’t put them out of business. They did more than just the MERA conversions. The “only 13 roadworthy known to be left in the U.S.” statement is completely BS. MERAs had a small controller for the motorized side mirror that was on the console, in between the window buttons that is not there on that car. It’s also missing the entire MERA exhaust surround under the rear bumper. The MERA taillights can be purchased and there are a lot of kit cars trying to replicate a MERA. I highly encourage you to remove this video ASAP.

Hello Adam - is there a specific reason why this exact same comment was posted under a different channel name "@VegasStarQuest" yesterday? Someone reported that to KZbin yesterday and they removed it (we don't do silly things like that). My question to you is don't you have other things to do with your day besides troll KZbin channels? Go enjoy the day and stop wearing out your keyboard posting nonsense - have a great day!

@@freshvintage I am the owner of MERA # 7077. I take great pride in my MERA and the history behind it. Your video is a complete disgrace to the MERA legacy and MERA owners that try to educate people on the real story of the MERA. It's hard enough to educate people without videos like this that have a total disregard for the facts. The internet is full of misinformation because of people like you that are allowed to post crap like this out to thousands of people that don't know any better. I am respectfully requesting that you remove it before I am forced to inform Ferrari that it contains blatant infringement of its intellectual property. Ferrari will not take kindly to the use of its trademarks on anything other than a genuine Ferrari

Hi Adam thanks for your reply. Prove you own a Mera - do you have photos, video, documentation online we can view somewhere? We would love to see that proof 👍 Also to be 100 percent frank here there's a very VERY similar KZbin video on this same exact car and subject that's been out there for 2 years now; why haven't you gone after that video? The owner of the car is making the supposedly false claims, not us, and is the one with the car that has the Ferrari badges on it, not us, so maybe reach out to them with your commentary thanks.

@@freshvintageI would be happy to provide you photos, video, and documentation that I am the proud owner of MERA # 7077. The owner can say whatever they want but you are the one that is publishing the video, promoting the misinformation. You can video record someone playing copyrighted music all you want but if it's in a video that you post, the video is infringing on the owner's IP, not the person playing the music in the video. I am respectfully allowing you the opportunity to take it down before Ferrari does and you get an IP infringement violation on your account.

@@freshvintageDid you watch the MERA video with a similar title that's been out there for 2 years? The MERA in that video has all the MERA badging and the narrator provides accurate information about the MERA. The only thing inaccurate about that video is the title.
