What a well thought-out review! I grew up a casual fan of the Foo Fighters but really got into them in the last two or three years. I agree with your review of the album. I was impressed by how quickly they put together such a well-written, performed, and thought-out album - easily their best since Wasting Light.

Man, great video! I'm a fan of Foo Fighters since I was 13 and this record is a breath of fresh air for the band and the fans. Rescued, The Glass and the title track are my favorites, and it'll totally be on my list of best records from 2023.

Great video. I can’t tell you how many run throughs of the album I’ve done since first listening to it. I can’t get enough of it. I find I need the pause of Show Me How while listening and I appreciate the quiet of it. Each song has something that grabs my attention. I want Rest to play whenever the end draws near for me. It’s beautiful.

Dave didn't drum on One by One. He last drummed on their third record, while Taylor did half of that record's drums.

Dave's always been a MUCH better drummer than a guitar player, so it is FANTASTIC that he chose to get behind the drums again. Of course taylor will be missed, but, I'm very happy he didn't go the "guest drummer" route...

Btw Taylor didnt drum on The Colour and the Shape, he joined the band after it was recorded, although he drummed on the bonus tracks that were added years later.

This album kinda blew me away. I haven't liked a lot of the music theyve made in a while. Daves Dream Widow project was pretty damn good, but not exactly a Foo Fighters record.

Very sad state of modern rock music if so and this is coming from someone who bought their first album as soon as it was released, is a big Grohl fan, and has heard "But Here We Are" in it's entirety. The Teacher is a solid track though.
