She's really thumping the snare and floor tom for such a tiny frame and her work with 1/16th beats on the hi-hat has metronomic precision. The most amazing feature for me, though, is the lack of fear. Nandi KNOWS she can deliver at this level and she does. One of the most exciting rock performances on video. Terrific! Oh, and look how long the cheering lasts at the end. The audience can't believe what they've just witnessed.

What really got me was her littler brother balling his eyes out and giving her a huge hug. Often times siblings can become jealous when the other becomes successful. Y'know...it's not just that Nandi's already this good at this age...there are a lot of really gifted musical prodigies. But the fact that she's already this stage-savvy, that she has the kind of stage presence to engage a crowd that size and the presence of mind to not let her emotions run away with her...THAT is truly unique. I hope this is only the first of many surprise appearances...and I hope that when the time comes, we get to see Nandi, leading her band, announcing their special guest Dave Grohl. These really are the kinds of stories that restore faith in humanity.

Just think, she's not allowed to drive a car, she's not allowed to buy booze, she can't vote but she just killed backing a Rock N Roll Hall of Fame band in a SOLD OUT show in Los Angeles. The Bushell Family should be celebrated for sharing and helping people. I never, ever leave comments anywhere but felt compelled to do so here. This is truly magical and pure. What an example you have set for him. Seeing you achieve a dream like this warms my heart. You have the energy and intensity of Keith Moon from The Who. He is one of my favorite drummers. Keep practicing and always strive to be a better drummer. Keep the beginners mindset. That is what my all time favorite drummer Neil Peart of Rush would do.
