Did Fugitive Yoga Instructor Leave Her Sister’s Passport?

New details surrounding the arrest of the fugitive yoga instructor accused of murder were released. A man who witnessed Kaitlin Armstrong's arrest says she left behind two passports. One of the passports was hers, while the other had her sister Christine’s name on it. U.S. Marshals say Armstrong was trying to build a new life in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. They also say she was financing her new life with $12,200 she got from selling her jeep before fleeing the U.S.

Call me crazy, but for some odd reason, this case is going to fade within a few weeks, and then she will probably get like 20 years, and possibly, POSSIBLY, her sister will get a couple years for aiding her. I know I may get some flack for this, but I truly believe she won’t face the consequences she SHOULD face because… she’s white.

I understand how local and state law enforcement officers could cooperate with the FBI and the US Marshals when trying to capture a fugitive domestically whether it’s a runaway suspect not yet convicted or a runaway inmate on disguise. If they have intel that someone is hiding outside of the country they either send Marshall’s to go kidnap them (illegal but it happens) or they contact the local law enforcement and ask for their help.
