It's literally insane. People discredit people who are spoken so highly of. It's almost like they dislike that she's so big. But that does NOT negate the fact that this woman can SING!
@kalijd36589 ай бұрын
She was also performing through her pain because they were on tour “On the run tour) but she made it look easy and we didn’t know anything had happened until she did LEMONADE after she had healed and they had worked through it! Back story; she did leave and move to Europe with Blue and he went chasing her,he spoke about it in an interview and more vividly on his album(song 444) it took her a while to go back but did therapy because he didn’t wanna lose his family then she got pregnant with the twins. Fun fact:lemonade was suppose to be a joint release but the direction it ended up going they decided to release separately. He also spoke about how the studio sessions were sometimes hard to be in when she was singing about the hurt but it became apart of therapy for them.

Resentment is actually an old song! She covered it on b-day(i think originally it was intended for Victoria beck am I highly recommend the lemonade visual album 👀!! She goes through it and gives a tiny bit more insight there
@grapeswisher9 ай бұрын
she recorded this song during the B'Day album in 2006. Then, later found out he cheated right before they did this tour together (On The Run Tour in 2014), so every time she performed this it was very much real from that moment in time. The tension between them was palpable on tour. They reconciled, she released Lemonade in 2016 which further details her healing, they later got remarried in 2018 and then went on a reconciliation tour, On The Run Tour II in 2018, where she performed this song again with even more dynamic vocals

They have a trilogy of albums that sorta give a perceptive of the relationship: Lemonade 4:44 Everything is Love
@Tiarawatches9 ай бұрын
Lemonade i feel like answers your questions. It details all the stages of finding about the infidelity and coming back together. It’s a gorgeous visual album i highly recommend. Side note: jay z also released an album afterwards where he confessed and apologized and talked about how awful he felt having to face his family and what not. And mentions how much he had to do to win her back including moving the family from New York because she wanted to and so on. Beyonce really does put a lot of emotion in her songs 😅 to this day some fans haven’t forgiven jay z for what he did honestly. But ever since he’s been nothing but supportive and focused on being there for her and the family people joke he’s become a house husband because he’s always with the kids and went to every stop of her tour, seems like he’s just grateful she forgave him because she did end up moving out with her daughter at one point. It’s a lot and i try not think too much on another person’s family beyond what they give to us. I just appreciate putting it in the art. They’re very secretive otherwise

This was during Beyonce’s and Jay Z’s OTR tour in 2014. Lemonade came out in 2016 so a lot of people speculate that he was cheating round around that time of their tour or maybe a little bit earlier. Remember the elevator incident with Solange and Jay happened on May of 2014 and the tour was from June2014 to September 2014. So she was probably actively going through it during their SHARED tour, very difficult. The song though is from her 2006 album, where i don’t think anything was happening back then because she has stated many time that that album is not autobiographical

Lemonade tells you the story of her journey to being hurt, angry and then to forgiveness. It’s a great album. Jay Z also did an album called 4:44
@VictoriaTamiaJames9 ай бұрын
If everything that has been rumored about them is true, he was a typical F@cked up guy with internalized mysoginy. He didn't believe he deserved her so he cheated to feed his ego. The stress of that caused several miscarriages which fueled her resentment. Lots of counseling and therapy, leaving, coming back, and ultimatums later, they made it thru. Conditions were drawn up and now they are in a healing phase. IDK for sure obviously, but that is what was talked about during the Lemonade and 4:44 eras as well as their subsequent On the Run tours. Could all just be a bunch of PR but I personally doubt it.

This song is a cover from her Bday album however this performance was around the time the allegations started (when her sister whooped him in the elevator). Beyonce released her side of the story: Lemonade, then Jay released his: 4:44 and then they got back together with a join album: Everything Is Love and even went on another on the run tour. These installments take us through a journey of how it affected their marriage and how they eventually mended things to be stronger than before. Definitely recommend looking into those projects!
