My friend said she received a random call and her display said the call was from New York. When she answered and the recording stated that there was a random charge on her CC, she knew something was up. She stated that she partially opened a PP account, but she decided against it. She told me about it and told her that it was a scam call. I told her that Pay Pal doesn't have any residency in NY. Courtesy of Perogi and the SP team, I was able to inform her on what types of calls to look out for and to inform her mother as well. Thanks, Perogi, for all of your advice and information

I thank you for these videos. My father was just scammed out of $19,000. He lives in Florida. I live in CA. The addresses of the packages was an hour from me - my husband went but was unable to intercept the second package. We had my dad recover one package from the UPS store before it was sent out. They convinced him that he would get in trouble with the FBI for stealing the money from them (McAfee). My poor father took out his life savings thinking he was doing the right thing. Anyway, local PD did not give a hoot and wouldn’t do anything. I had my dad make a report with his local PD, the CA local PD and the FBI. I know he won’t get his money back- but can I give you the addresses to add to your information? I thank you so much for all you do, if it weren’t for your videos I wouldn’t have known he was being scammed and wouldn’t have been able to convince him to get back to the UPS store immediately to retrieve the second package. ❤

I am a substance abuse counselor and one of my patients always receives calls from these people and I asked them if they knew they were being scammed and have they lost anything, they said no but the callers are abusive. I feel bad for older people who are not tech savvy. I’ve warned my mom of these scammers. She’s now taken to not answering ANY calls that she doesn’t know to save herself because I warned her once they know a phone number is active they’ll keep calling from different numbers to try and scam.

Really great content. I am not the best PC tech but I know enough to keep myself protected. I ran into a scammer a couple weeks ago and kept him on the line for just under an hour trolling before I absolutely verbally obliterated him. Following your channel for years thinking what you were doing was awesome but fortunately far from my world. Well a couple weeks ago, my neighbor got scammed 90,000$. When his wife talked to us about it, she said it was some kind of Indian lady on the other side of the line. Apparently my neighbor made his will and is talking about suicide a lot since, which of course we're doing something about. All this to say that what you're doing is invaluably important and I will continue encouraging people like you using their talent doing the right thing in this world.

Though people higher up the chain almost certainly will have connections to the kind of organized crime groups that can and do kill people. It is probably much less dangerous to be an American in the US doing this than it would be for a local in India or wherever the offended scammer in question is.
