Thank you for keeping the world informed about all this devastation and loss of human life and suffering. "We the people" come together in situations like this and give of themselves so others may piece their lives back together... one step at a time! Bless all!! From a Marine Corps veteran ( 1971-1975 ). Semper Fi!!

God bless you!!!! And your son and friend and neighbors! May He continue to cover you with His protection and peace~ He will give you strength to move on and in His comforting arms... I live in Florida. Lived through many hurricanes, now 77 years old and lived here since I was 18. Almost moved to Blowing Rock, NC a couple decades ago, where we had a wonderful home, but was not sure I or my mother could handle the weather. Well, there you go... my heart is in your mountains and I've been praying for you and every person affected by this Helene! Blessings....

Hi John , Thank you again for your continued work, and Loretta has an amazing, beautiful spirit . In all the destruction, she still can see the beauty , glad she decided to keep that bench , and happy that the crew put it right there too. Her new "happy spot" , near her "she shed" Loretta has been blessed, and she is very thankful and grateful . You can see it . Thank you for sharing her story. ❤

@TinyLuvsBostons
@TinyLuvsBostons 6 күн бұрын
@@dodge73dart Rick Moreland wrote it. I don’t know the name. I jus call it “Helene Anthem” Helene, you rose from the gulf’s warm embrace. We saw your face, and it was filled with rage. With winds that tore through the night, no remorse. It left your damage in your reckless course. You moved so slow. But, oh the rains they fell. The winds they screamed like a voice from hell. You took what you wanted. Nothing could stand. Homes and lives swept from the land. Chorus but, Helene you can't break the human heart. You can't tear apart the love we carry through the wreckage through the dark. We’ll rise again! We’ll rebuild from the spark. You may have taken all we own, but you'll never claim our souls. Verse 2 You cross the Sunshine State, the Peach State’s Plains, but high in the mountains you brought the pain. You erased lives like they were never there. Left families and grief. Left the world unfair. But, in the face of your evil winds, something stronger began to begin Yes you took much, but not what’s real. The kindnesses , the love, the human will. Chorus But, Helene you can’t break the human heart. You can’t tear apart the love we carry through the wreckage through the dark. We’ll rise again. We’ll rebuild from the spark. You may have taken all we own, but you’ll never claim our souls. In the wake of your fury , we stood hand in hand, strangers and neighbors all across this land. You couldn’t steal the hope we share, the courage to rise. to show we care. Helene, you left your mark, but history will tell that even in your storm love prevails Repeat Chorus
