I recommend putting your name on your art somewhere where it cannot be cropped, just as an extra measure(such as on their shirts, or in this drawing, in between their arm intersections). You can also put your name in the metadata so you have evidence in case it does show up.

actually your name can be edited off no matter where you put it there's a rly good video on youtube about it i forget what it's called but it basically shows how any sort of watermark can be cropped or edited off so there's rly no point in putting a signature in the middle of a drawing where is takes away from the actual art itself. Signatures are more like for what LavenderTowne said: to help someone find you if your art ends up somewhere. I can't tell you how many times signatures or artist's logos have saved my life. Your other suggestion was a rly good idea though! I've never thought to do that

annieinspace i think the difference there is sometimes people will crop a photo without the deliberate intention of cropping out names or watermarks. Particularly if you put your name near the border whereas ifyou keep it fairly central and near among other important parts of the art that's a lot less likely to happen. Obviously it can still be edited out but let's be real that takes a lot more effort especially if youre on mobile (i use instagram a lot). In the end its obviously up to the artist themselves how careful they want to be about the placement and how it affects the overall look of their art but I think it's wrong to say that making it harder to crop out isnt worth it.

OH! I. LOVE. THIS. Just imagine their first date which Grayson was forced to come thanks to Luca’s stubbornness to not leave him unless they go out or something. Just, imagine Luca enjoying the dinner and drinks while Grayson nervously muttering to himself “Powers. will. kick. my...lower back torso if they found out” but secretly enjoying it a little. Luca hears all of this and giggles to himself ‘cause of Grayson’s dork worries. JUST, give me an aggressive but usually quiet, low status angel Grayson who’s slightly annoyed by Luca but always has the unfortunate to meet him and a devilishly joyful and sarcastic demon Luca who does not care if he likes him or not and pick up on Grayson for entertainment but also senses something about Grayson like “there’s something different about this angel, hmmm, Aha!*snaps fingers* Why won’t I just go after him and makes his life a living hell by clinging and sabotaging him to find out?! Such a great idea inner me?!” I have a 5 seasons scenario in my mind about this concept. No lemon, some dirty jokes and swears since Luca is a demon, and a lot of twists including Luca might being Satan’s son and underworld prince or Grayson might being somehow related to Lucifer (before anyone says something, I used ‘might’ for a reason). A comedy-tragedy-action genres mix. Someone please make this gold mine happen. PLEASE. Edit: Thanks to everyone who commented these nice things to this comment. I want to clear out that no, Making Grayson and Luca related was NOT my intention. Sometimes unfortunately all these stuff confuses me, and this was one of them as well. To anyone who wants to write or animate or do any sort of creative stuff with this ideas, Please go for it! I would love to see such a nice content and trust me I would be honored to be first of the many people who see or read these contents! Thank you so much for all these positive comments again! Okay, I have known about your channel for a while, and I watch some of your videos from time to time. But after I saw your most recent Q & A, I basically remembered how you were the one who inspired me to keep drawing after I stopped for at least 6 years (Low self esteem and all that) And I became so happy when you said you were inspired by Markcrilley, And that you go to an art college in a city that I live an hour away from (Not to sound creepy), and after only 3 months, I am now able to draw amazing people and all sorts of creatures without using a reference, and I have better confidence in myself, although I have never shown anyone my drawings yet. just some light criticism I guess, I really do like your channel a lot and this isn't the first time I've watched this video. I do think that androgynous fashion/fashion that doesn't adhere to strict gender roles is great. However in this image looking at the elements of Luca in this image one would probably assume that it is a female character....mostly because of the rounder face shape combined with the eyeliner makes the face look very feminine, I'm not saying it's a bad thing it just might not come off as a male character and might fall into the anime trope of "otokonoko" also be cautious when making a character who is implied to be in a m/m relationship exaggeratedly feminine, I know that there are a lot of people who would see that as problematic, and probably be out for your blood 😅 edit: changed use of "tr4p" to "otokonoko"

ok i know that i am 4 years too late on this one, but my idea for how their story went is basically that grayson got stuck in hell while on a mission for the Angels, and basically got rescued by Luca, who is obnoxious and way more chaotic than anyone Grayson's ever met in heaven, and they try to get him out of hell and back to the angels before the Satanic Guard (???) or somethin like that catches up to them, as having an angel in hell can disrupt the natural balance and all they would do is kill him and then they fall in love and its gay
