So some kind of variable modulation controlled by the fretting and only applicable for fretless? When the depth increased towards the end of the demo, it sounds weird but not out of tune or autotuned like today's rappers, with different words it would be obvious that you are off the note if it was a conventional modulation. I think it is a very clever idea and I think it provide more freedom with your movements on the fretless. Writing this comment as a feedback helped me to understand the concept of the effect, lol. Glad that you had such an idea and you were able to make it come alive with great tools like the eventide.

Sure, at times it sounds a bit like other choruses, but the point isn’t to not be a chorus, it’s to employ a different mode of operation. Your fingers are now the pedal knobs.
