Amy was written like a snarky teenager at first but this didn’t really work for Karen Gillan, so she became smarter, funnier and more assertive. I’d agree that she blossomed into a more substantive character. It’s very telling that Moffat and Chibnall both wrote in an excuse for skimpy outfits - they obviously didn’t have much faith in either the actress or the audience.

There are only so many locations in and around the Cardiff area with whom the BBC have permission to film and/or are suitable to film in. There are countless instances of the same locations being reused in Doctor Who, going all the way back to the Troughton era or even earlier.

The thing about the timeless children is that in a vacuum the episode is simply a below average episode, but the episode does not exist in a vacuum but as part of a 50 year long series, thus the episode is not the worst episode, but definitely my most hated episode.

Most of it is exposition and the rest is just running away from and fighting Cybermen and it has a completely unapologetic deus ex machina ending that actually creates a plot hole in itself. There's barely anything redeemable about it.

What irked me was during the end montage of Amy's memories of Rory, we revisit the clip of him being shot (from about 3 minutes ago) but the special effect of the gun is now removed. So it's just Rory really awkwardly screaming and collapsing without any sign of something hurting him. Felt like it wasn't proof-checked by anyone who cared.

Hmmm. I think you were a little harsh to these episodes; they're not the best, I'm not a fan of it because it's based in another bloody village that Series 5 seemed to revolve around in a lot of episodes. But it's pretty much silver to the crap Chibnall does as showrunner. I'm glad you didn't focus on Ambrose's betrayal too much. For me, she's the worse character in this double take. I wish they just execute her. However with the ending you said you don't understand how The Doctor remembers Rory, he's a time lord and has a memory that moves in ways the human mind could never comprehend. As for Amy, Rory is interwoven with her time stream so the crack is snipping those lines however as the Doctor tries to help her, he says that she could hang on to the memories of Rory but would have to concentrate but she never could with the TARDIS's turbulence. Lastly, you said why didn't they try to get Rory into the TARDIS but I think they were more distracted trying to keep Rory alive and The Doctor didn't know that the crack's energy could spill out as it did to grab Rory's leg the way it did.

with the your point at the end when you had a problem with the fact the Doctor knows what happens when someone is erased from history kind of rubbed me the wrong way. He is a timelord (obviously ignoring Chris Chibnall's shit show) after all, I would assume that when your training to be a timelord you would be taught what would happen if you take things out of the timeline/existence and especially the consequence when its your own personal time line. I know you don't like Matt smiths area and I may be a bit bias but this in no way ruined my viewing experience. anyway still liked the video overall and love your work.
