I think God is calling the Church as wife, because God tells a man to love his wife as Jesus Christ loves the church.

Here is my question, IF Jesus had a wife (which I am NOT saying he did) what would be wrong with that? Jesus was perfect without sin, being married is not a sin. Again please dont attack me, I am not saying he was married Im just asking what would be wrong if he was married? He came to live as man in the flesh. Marriage to a woman is not a sin.

Jesus taught that he would return for his bride... which is the church. Then there will be a marriage supper. Jesus, a virgin, returning for his chaste bride to wed. Hope this helps.

We must remember that Christ the Messiah is a God. The Son of God. A God who is immortal cannot have sexual relations with a Mortal. Therefore Christ could not be married. Remember His sacrifice accepted by God was through His blood which is pure and SINLESS , while Man's blood has SIN all the way back to Adam.

There was a marriage at Cana where servants went to Jesus' mother Mary to tell her that they were running out of wine. She told them to go and see Jesus about it. Now why would that be? Whose wedding was it and why was Mary in charge?

We are not told who were getting married. The focus was the miracle of turning water into wine. The first miracle.

When the WORD was sent to become a human being, Jesus knew from the start His purpose and why He was sent by this Father God to Earth... so, logically Christ Jesus will not get involved with a relationship that will lead to marriage, for He knew from the start that he was to Die for the SIN of Mankind. Did Jesus' human flesh/body crave sex or attraction to girls/women?... Yes, just like any human being, Christ had overcome those cravings and temptations thru meditations and prayers...That was why Christ knew when He said, "The Spirit is willing but the Flesh is Weak."

What does the Monkish Sister Wives have to do with Jesus's Wife? Some points I'd like to make. A. A Rabi was a teacher - but traditionally Rabi's were all married. B. If you came back from the dead... Who would you want to go see first? Some Blokes that hung out with you... Or your wife? C. Considering that the original documents were copied and translated and recopied by Monks - there is a lot of editing going on there and much of what was originally written, especially stuff that the Monks did not like or they disagreed with, was left out or changed. It was quite a long time from the beginning of the bible to the printing press.
