I got my own place for the first time in my life. Before that I was someone's daughter, then someone's wife, then someone's mom, then someone's caregiver...now I'm my own someone and I love it. The kids/grandkids request my presence 4 days out the week...I visit a lot. But at the end of the day...I like going home to my own space.

Growing up in the 60’s my grandparents lived with us. That’s what I’m used to and thank God for my grandparents. They truly saved my life. I’d love for my grandparents to live with me now, but they’ve been gone for over 40 years. If they couldn’t live with me I’d just buy them a house. They would have been so well loved and taken care of. The salt of the earth deserve everything. So happy for you Jill!
