Not often I come across situations like this, but it does happen from time to time.

Nicely explained Pete. That little Wheaten has a set on her - but a Terrier no less. Rollo handled it beautifully.

@@TheRadicalBehaviorist thank you. I showed a short clip of this to a neighbour friend and dog owner, and they thought this was a fight. That's when I decided to do a breakdown of it and point out that it really wasn't anything serious. For whatever reason, your average dog owner thinks this is either serious or a fight, maybe both.

There is a lot of misunderstanding around dog to dog communication. Thanks for these posts!

@@AndreannaKourouma there certainly is. I showed my neighbour this footage and he thought it was a fight. That's when I thought its time to do a breakdown. Your welcome!

Yeah probably an Insecure dog, my dog did that too, got intimated by another dog trying to sniff her she'd resort to air snapping till it left her alone.

@LuxRP it's not common, but it does happen, and it should be allowed to happen whilst it stays in the realm of air snaps and attempts to tell another dog to go away. Dogs get intimidated and scared, and that's ok.

@@Partners_in_Canine Yeah, if you correct it then that can resort to biting.. I'd just calmy grab her collar, keeping relaxed till the other owner got their dog and moved on.
