HOTEL ROOM, MONTE CARLO - Moments Later - After being double-crossed by Tatiana, Agent Mega finds himself in the clutches of the nefarious Dr. Baron Von Nazi, who makes a futile case in defending history's most notorious group.
SPIES ARE FOREVER is a new musical that follows the suave, yet arrogant, Agent Curt Mega after a tragedy forces him to reconsider the unstable world of espionage. But before long, Mega finds himself thrust into the shadows of Cold War politics, entangled with a Russian femme fatale, and uncovering a super villain’s plot to rebuild the Nazi empire. With a license to kill and the voice of an angel, Mega must stay alive, complete the mission, and prove to his enemies that the deadliest weapon of all is a little song and dance.

Mary Caroline -- very similar to Colonel Klink (probably misspelled) from Hogan's Heroes. The actor had to flee Germany when he was young because he was Jewish, and only agreed to play a Nazi if he could make him stupid. If you haven't heard of this show, it is a classic and quite funny 😂

i think it varies in difficulty depending on the accent you have, and the accent you're trying to do. As an Australian, it's fairly easy to do English or American (or French, but that's just cause I've studied it for ages) , but I could never do, say, welsh or german. And I think Americans generally find it difficult to sing in English or Australian accents. So it just depends I guess!
@olivetreewhimsy2016
@olivetreewhimsy2016 5 жыл бұрын
DoctorWhoTrailers those two are actually some of the easier ones, at least in my experience. Languages that roll their “r”s can be a bit tricky if you don’t get the hang of it, especially after a “t” or a “d”, and being consistent on vowel sounds are always a struggle since they’re used so many ways in English. But it really depends on the person and what they’ve been exposed to
@dumblebee9167
@dumblebee9167 5 жыл бұрын
@@olivetreewhimsy2016 yeah, exactly my point! I think for most people it's fairly easy to do a stereotypical American accent, because so much of the media we're exposed to comes from the USA. Whereas I don't hear a lot of other accents nearly often enough to imitate them :)

I don’t think I properly appreciated Brian Rosenthal’s acting before he’s not used enough in Starkid musicals but in TCB he really shines. The depiction of madness is just brilliant Also he got an entire audience to say “Nazis are not so bad” which I’m not is a good thing but even so

This isn't a new problem. My theatre friends and I have seen The Producers (a musical comedy by Mel Brooks), and there's a song called "Springtime for Hitler". Now imagine the look on the faces of our friends who haven't heard it when we sing the line "Done be a stupid be a smarty, come and join the Nazi party". It's funny, but then we have to explain what just happened.
